Bharathi madam's speech is always admirable. But my doubt is who is that dislikers? ??? And y didn't they like it
All her speeches are marvelous.. I was glad to know recently that I happen to be her junior from the same school at triplicane.. ,though we had moved to Delhi after 6th..
Whenever I hear her I recollect my school days..

Nice speech, full of practical tips and clues. It is the experience that adds weight and force to the words. Her language is quite natural and unaffected .
The first term or semester in any course was a problem for most of us those days, shifting from Tamil to English medium. But the standard of our school English was so good , the difficulty did not last. And like Prof.Kasturi mentioned my madam, most professors and lecturers were good in their subjects and also good as human beings. They did take that extra step to help the students. But did all students walk that extra mile , like madam did, to take advantage?
Madam made a valid point about hobby. I hope students who listened to her did benefit by her advice.

Humor laced motivational speech which youth can relate to.
I started learning violin and practicing Kalaripayattu(martial arts)...this brought in lots of changes in my life overall...it shaped me as a different person...she is right....focus on what you like...
Extremely motivational and absorbing. Even though I have had occasions to listen to Ms Baskar's debate in Pattimandram usually chaired by Shri Saloman Pappaiah, this is the first time I listened to a 38 minutes not stop speech. .In a nutshell the conveyed message was "Plan your work and work your plan". This habit should start when the mind is fertile. I wish she addresses many more younger minds on topics like this for their benefits.

I also wanted to write a comment that the speech is excellent , but I think I expect more from a person who has done BE in Chemical Engineering, MBA and working in a prestigious multi national bank.
As Ms. Bharathi Baskar is working in a very commendable position , where she should have lot of experience in giving loans to lots of entrepreneurs , I expected that she give advice to people who attended this seminar , what are the qualities expected for an entrepreneurs, how to approach a bank with a winning project report , etc etc.
She had an advantage over other speakers in giving some real life examples, which would have given some directions to the people who attended the summit.
Sorry, I am not able to say that her speech was having any relevance to the audiance and may be it is a good speech for a SPICY pattimandrum talk show. !!!!

Very nice and inspiring. But the Chem Eng experience narrated also glaringly points out the defects of a system that admits students on the wrong criteria creating much stress for them. The loss to society in terms of the mediocrity it breeds is even more troublesome. It is to the great credit of the speaker she found her calling and could share her experience openly with the young.
