As far as I can tell spamming the reload for the Ironside is what causes it to do the instant reload but the not consuming ammo on reload is a separate bug
I thought it was just going to be a slightly faster Martini that blocks half of the screen. I was shocked when I found out it was basically a Giga-Winnie.
My favorite thing about the Ironside is to me how THICC those bullets look in the mag

@@nickmclean4004 they shot black powder rounds. So i assume they had more powder in the cartridge
It’s not that wide it’s .455 so about the same diameter of .45 colt. It is a necked cartridge so the base of the case is wider than the bullet itself.

Wow, im super impressed with how good you are with a Spectre compact, i always felt that this gun is realy random, sometimes you barely do damage and sometimes you one tap, but when hornet is using it its suddenly god tier
perfect crosshair placement is key, the pellets dont spread as much as you would think.

@@weebsarecringe2102 range for sure, but mostly where the pellets hit. limbs, torso, and head all have different damage multipliers.

It’s a pretty good budget Long-Ammo assault weapon. The mag stick out bad, but you don’t need any perks to lock aim, so that makes it much less of an issue.

Goddamnit, Hornet. You and I both know that the Romero Alamo has a faster firing speed than the normal Romero. The Alamo can do things that a regular Romero simply cannot, due to its slower ROF.
Yes, it takes longer to reload the entire magazine than to chamber a round. But that means nothing if you've already dropped your opponents -- and with a normal Romero, you're forced to reload after each shot (which is why your ROF is down).
The clincher is that you can play the Alamo exactly like the normal Romero: simply reload after every shot. I promise you that if you try that, you'll quickly drop the habit because the Alamo's ROF is so much better without doing that.
yet if you miss 1 shot with the alamo its certain death but martini is way faster it was just a comparison

23:16 The time between shots is insanely short, it feels almost too fast for such a clunky reload mechanism. I've had some really good matches with this rifle as well, it's really fun to play.

Does this gun benefit from any traits like Iron Sharpshooter? Idk if it acts like a bolt action gun or it has a unique animation and gets no synergy.

Just one thing is that the martini Ironsides is a little buggy right now. In one match the moment I pressed r it reloaded the entire mag instantly and kept doing that for subsequent reloads which was really op, and then in another match the ui said I had a round left in the chamber and then when I clicked to shoot it just clicked like it was empty though the icon still said I had ammo loaded, which was obviously almost got me killed in that instance, just pressing r fixed it and then it went back to normal. But yeah other than some weirdness I feel like it’s completely being slept on just because of how much of your screen it takes up. For me it’s not really a problem because at least the actual sights are still like the base martini sights which are quite clean, so for me the biggest problem is the muzzle velocity which makes me miss shots I would have hit with other guns, but it’s still a really good gun.
Its not only martini problem. Since summer here is a bug with reload but not reloaded. Ive had many cases with many kinds of weapons last days. Sparks, crossbows, uppercut. Everything. And of course its disgusting.
@@YaMaTo999Vir Yeah, i do know about that too, but it is slightly different with the martini. With whats happened to me the normal reload bug is where you go through the entire reload animation, it shows the bullets in the gun, and then when the animation ends the bullets on the ui disappear and the gun isn't loaded. With the martini I had already shot at least once since reloading and even after I tried to shoot the ui said I had a bullet in there. Ig it's basically the same bug, with the martini it was different.

Man I thought I would have fun in this event as a solo, but every game I play is just full of other solo players and as soon as a single person makes any sound in a compound - there are just 5-6 people crouching in every corner not moving.... and self-res after every death. Really frustrating

self necro you mean? you need to play solo , be pledged to the grounded pact and have the necromancer trait
I think the Alamo needs a buff, specially in the staged cycling(loading the next shot shouldn't always restart when you switch and should instead time your switch to which stage of loading you were at.) and ammo department, it could honestly use a 3+1 with 8 ammo in the reserve.

@@erdbeertage4851 they do. compact ammo struggles to pen anything past 20 meters, and medium at 30. Long ammo just has so much power it hits hard even through 2 wood walls
