I think this concept can be applied to so many parts of our lives. We don't have money to redo a kitchen. Cupboards are fine, just not aesthetically pleasing. So be miserable for 20 + years looking at sad, bland cupboards? Well I did that for over two years then it hit me, paint them! Keep it simple. No sanding, no taking them down. Just random rainbow painting, one cupboard at a time. 😉
A fantastic talk!! I'm going to have to come back to watch again. I do all these things. I buy books to "improve" my life and that of our homeschooling then I don't read them. I love things neat, clean and organized yet everything is a mess. I have such great ideas to make homeschooling fun then just abandon things once the whining starts.
