    Helen, great video. You have an analytical mind for fashion which I appreciate very much and found lacking on many UA-cam channels. Dressing well and feel good is a learning process for most people. I am an analytical person myself and it is hard for me to follow any trends if they don’t make sense for me. Your videos have a unique point of view.

    Please could you do a video on doing contrasting colors (or adding pops of color)? The way you use your red bag is unexpected and so good!

    This was such an amazing video! Loved to see the differences between past and present and your analysis; found it highly informative!!
    You're style was and is beautiful, original, not mainstream and totally different from other influencers (that often look too alike in my opinion). I hope you'll always keep your own unique distinct style

    I love this channel, the way you are inspiring by showing your style journey. Your thoughts are very unique and beneficial for everyone, even I have different style I can learn a lot about how to percept look, how to think more creatively, and understand why I like something. Event the words you are using are quite good tools to use when trying to describe and find personal style. Another great value is that you are inspiring to buy quality stuff, I still need time to change mindset and buy investment pieces, but it really help :)
    Please never stop adding films about outfit ideas

    The sezane leontine also just looks much better with a few buttons open in my opinion... As it shows some skin and gives you space to breath

    I want to add, where your handbag sits at the waist also can add or take away from your looking. also if its too big, too small and the type of material.

    LOVE the first tip, definitely going to try pairing my boxy tops and sweaters with something flowy on the bottom rather than going for something more fitted or skin tight which, I think, would be most peoples first thought. Really adds a certain softness to the look that was missing before ✨

    Love these restyling videos 😍 Uni starts in a week and this is exactly the type of motivation I need! Also, can I ask you for some tips on how to style a specific item? I recieved my mom's old silk skirt, which is very light, black, A-line/wrap and knee-length on me. Problem is, I'm having a hard time styling it. Nowadays I mostly wear skirts that are midi or maxi since I'm 150cm (these make me look a bit taller) so not quite sure how to style this knee-length without it looking "dated".. Grateful for any tips and tricks! 🥰

    • @DailyHelenJ
      @DailyHelenJ  Рік тому +1

      Thanks ! :) Since it's lightweight and silky, I think the length can easily be styled (as opposed to puffy which would make it harder). I recommend going for a more form fitting t-shirt or tank top and leaning into a more delicate fitted silhouette. This would make it really flattering. If you wanted to elongate more, I would do a dark top (doesn't have to be black, could be grey,navy). I find when I'm playing with proportions, like oversized tops, I need a long slim skirt to balance it, so in this case, I would combine it with a slim/fitted shape. You can then try using accessories to bring in some shape/interest/texture. With shoes, I would also do slimmer/more dainty - whether that's a sneaker, sandal or flat.

    The flamenco is gorgeous! Do you have any plans on doing a full review on it? I’m curious on how much stuff it can fit

    • @dutchiebyaccident
      @dutchiebyaccident Рік тому +2

      if you don't mind a stranger sharing an opinion: i bought flamenco in the smallest size and had to switch to one size bigger; the smallest one could fit my keys, phone and a A5 notebook (and it would look all stretched with it inside), the bigger one fits everything ive mentioned PLUS a book, headphones and other small bits and pieces. i think the smallest flamenco is great as a "substitute for a pocket", while a bigger one is like a proper bag that still looks pretty small and nice :)

    Hi! Love you and your videos! I must say I love those brown tighter pants on you! but I love a tight fit (I’m from the skinny jean era tho 😅)

    • @littlelady7843
      @littlelady7843 Рік тому +1

      That was my first reaction as well. The brown pants shoes off the small waist and the shape of the feminine hips. It is very flattering. But it is definitely not as comfortable as the flowy silk pants. I am getting older and cares more about comfort and style than showing off the figure or looking hot which is totally fine and fun!

    Hey there! I love your content, and this type of video in particular. I genuinely get inspired to (re)create outfits. It also helps that I have a similar style, just leaning more casual than romantic. One request from me: Could you speak a bit slower, your videos are so informative and packed with images I would prefer a more relaxed pace so that I can enjoy it even more. Thanks and all the best from Berlin
