And a worthless sticker at that, but the thing is, Valve would get so much backlash from doing that that its not worth it, I would make a video about it and people would feel less trusting of Valve. Even though in theory they could do it, I think they can see that the scammer didn't even care, so no problem. (Hopefully...)

Well no ofcourse you couldn't have known, nowadays it's quite complex and scammers can put quite a bit of work and money into their appearance to seem legit, since it makes them good money back. See it as a learning experience, because after all, knowledge is worth more than money or a knife💪
