Shaheen visits fire-hit area of Bohrikadal, pitches for compensation to victims
Srinagar, June 27, KNT: Janata Dal United President for Jammu and Kashmir GM Shaheen today visited the Bazar Masjid area of Bohri Kadal - which had recently been ravaged by a fire incident.
Shaheen who was accompanied by various party leaders interacted with fire victims and locals there. He appealed to the government to provide monetary assistance to fire victims without any delay.
He appealed to the government that the masjid damaged by fire should be renovated as soon as possible. He also demanded that a partial investigation should be conducted to ascertain the cause of the fire.
While talking to reporters on this occasion, Shaheen made a fervent appeal to the government to release all the political prisoners and also those who have been arrested on charges of stone-pelting.
