This set up is clean. Best plug and play I've seen so far. Specifically I love the controller and it's functions. It would be nice if you can make same one for right side of the handlebars to control aftermarket heated seats. Every single one on the market right now it's bulky and looks like does not belong to the motorcycle.
I did a fair amount of research then chose Denali D-4 with Data Dim for a Yamaha FZ-07. Just found a video where a yootooober did some comparisons. I finally got around to installing crash bars which should be a good place to mount the D-4's. I hit a deer over a year ago. I had to replace headlight assembly , Radiator , Forks ect.. I won't know until after I try them how much Improvement the D-4's will give me. I replaced my OEM Halogen bulb with an LED bulb in the OEM headlight. I can adjust the headlight angle so it is correct for high beam or correct for low beam.. If the Low Beam is focused correctly then the high beam will be too high . I suppose I will adjust the High beam to Optimum ..and hope the D-4's on 50% will help me a lot on Low Beam. Anyway looks like this yoootoob channel has many great videos on auxiliary lights.. ua-cam.com/video/eegaHolojdY/v-deo.html
You will love the D4's, especially compared to stock. Even at 50%, they are drastically better than any OEM headlight that we have seen. Abikething is one of our dealers in Europe, his videos are great! 👍🏼
@@DENALIElectronics Thanks, Yes I assumed the D-4's will still make a big Improvement. At age 61 I just got my first prescription driving glasses which are always fogged up on the motorcycle or snowmobile. I have been told I am early stages of cataracts. I bought a new Snowmobile in 2014. I thought the headlight was really bright , now not so much. Skidoo makes a bolt in place flood light .. with a 3 position switch. The sled was already wired for the light . all I have to do is bolt it on and plug it into the OEM wire harness and sockets and install the 3 position switch .
Very cool options and clean install! I have a 2020 AT and may copy this set up. I do have a question, when u lean the bike, the white oem turn lights follow the path of the lean. Can you program the main light to light the same way and the opposite side shuts off? Perhaps it’s configured that way but since your bike was stationary and upright, the oem lean feature didn’t activate?? Thoughts Thanks!
good video. Im trying to decide whether to buy the dialdim harness or the cansmart. What exactly are the main differences? The use of stock buttons and switches?
Hi, I'm thinking about installing the D3 on my Africa twin, but I would like to take advantage of the installation now, and take advantage of the fn button. (I live in Spain) Could you upload a video with that upgrade fog kit you have? I would like to see a video
Hi Denali, on this 1100 Africa Twin, can i install only a set of S4 pods with the Denali wiring, the Denali Datadim Dual intensity controller & the Denali Switch plug eliminator?
Which part is giving you difficulty? In this video we outline installed the DENALI DialDim Controller. The DialDim has the harness included and you simply connect it to your battery and connect your DENALI lights to the harness.
I just got the split bomb for my 24 Honda Africa, twin standard model and having a hard time finding a place to mount these components fitted outback crash bars
FYI, my 2021 has the pre-wire for fog lights, but no settings in the computer when you jumper the DTC port. I'm curious if the settings only show up after you terminate to a light?
@@AT2021Rocker my research indicates the NA bikes didn't have the software to control these plugs. I just bought an EZ-CAN and got on with life. I even went so far as to dissect the software update, looking for references to the lights, based on the Honda instructions for UK bikes.
Great lights, great quality. Could you let me know which cable you connect to the high beam? I have tried both: low beam and high beam, but the lights did not work correctly. When connected to the high beam (blue wire from the trigger harness to the black wire with the blue stripe on the motorcycle) the light works opposite: I can dim them on the high beam, and only full power on the low beam. When connected to the low beam, the dim function does not work at all. Please help. Thank you.

No one knows how to install the DialDIm? The included instructions are about as straight forward as it gets. Any shop should be able to install the DialDim. If your mechanic has questions, they can always give us a call.
The kit shown in the begginning of this video is our universal DialDim that uses positaps to install on any motorcycle. The install shown is using the plug and play adapter specific to the CRF1100 Africa Twin. No positaps are needed to install this product to an AT. denalielectronics.com/products/dialdim%E2%84%A2-lighting-controller-for-honda-africa-twin-1100

Have to admit I was surprised to see Denali still used micro USB on the ezcan product like we are are still living in the 2010. At least add USBC but why wouldn't you just add Bluetooth and make a mobile app to update settings on the fly?
@@DENALIElectronics jeez mate micro USB is dying so quickly. Many laptop don't even have regular USB A anymore. Heck the amount of people who don't even buy laptops anymore is also growing. the light mount? It likely doesn't fit with the AltRider bars. I suggest simply using our bar mount to the crash bars: denalielectronics.com/collections/universal-light-mounts/products/lah-00-10300-b?variant=15068397863012

What a great company - I was just about to order the OE Honda ones.. Glad I found this in time.

You will love it! The AT is a sweet bike, but customizable lighting takes it to another level.

How, when we can get this exact setup for standard DCT 1100
