As a black woman, the colorism conversation IS supposed to make you uncomfortable. Giselle and Rob are just two different ways to go about this way of thinking. Gisele plays "black soro" amd daught of black activist despite her own fathers issues with how he decribes certain black people 👀 whereas plain ole Rob actually plays the poor old lady once again proving the point entirely. I see why she was fired, couldn't even go out with a bang 🥱
Gizelle can't see this issue: she said that she's part of an black sorority and she went to and went to an HBCU as if those facts prove that she can't be a colorist. That is the colorist version of when non POC people say they can't be they have a black friend. This comment in and of itself does not mean she is colorist, but not grasping how this statement tracks indicates how Gizelle appears somewhere between complicit and wilfully unaware of the subject.
Just because Gizelle went to a HBCU and is in a Black sorority doesn't mean that she can't be colorist. She knows that too. 🙄
