Secondary spec is the only way to play imo. Take IFHE on it and go full send into brawls. It’s some of the most fun I’ve ever had with people forgetting it has torps.

I love the iwaki, gun angles are awesome, armor awesome, secondaries insane, and to top it off…it has torpedos!!

Let's also not forget it has MUCH better main gun accuracy than Pommern, the other tier IX coal secondary BB. These days I like Iwami a lot more than Pommern although I do still have a soft spot for good ol' pommy.

In ranked, when top tier is IX, my hybrid build Iwami with 9.5 km secondary range is so good.

Top tier in Silver and Gold this season, and almost every season, is Tier X.
You will be facing Libertads in almost every game and they will start to eat you alive at 12km.

@@deaninchina01 I was Gold 1 in 3 consecutive seasons in early 2023. Obviously I don't play ranked Iwami anymore. But I miss it! Still my Napoli and Salem feel broken even in this meta.
