Hey I've been doing this 8 times now, 2 times because of mistake of skipping a step and the rest because of phantom, I did the steps correctly and I tried to spam blasters and prog on the back on last wave aswell as put front blasters but it didn't work may you pls help me on what I did wrong
I just won with no catseye. I did it with Frigid Ruins, Sniper Ricochet for perks. Hunter, Programmer, Sniper, Toxic, Infernus, Blaster for towers. I get 7 level three snipers then do blaster spam with hunter in middle. On final wave, toxicator at front middle path and back. Good ability timing and selling of things wins it.
my strat is to get recons then get snowmans then get max dreadeye buff with priest then get more dreadeye and buff with priest and for last wave spam baits for the phantom boss so he doesnt get near ur maxxed dreadeyes

Some extra info : Dreadeyes are heavily nerfed, I don’t recommend using it anymore
Ultra-buffed Drone, even without Catseye, sort of work for early to late game carry

I died with phantom on 100 hp but all I can say is take advantage of the middle path enterance

You can prob try with soultarium perk. It can make my tower still hit the boss when it's out of range
