My buddy and l just wrapped up painting half of a big house up on the mtn out front of my farm. We will finish the other half in the spring. I told him how much l appreciated him helping and he said l appreciate you having me here on this job . He mafe good money,had great views of the Hudson and got to see wildlife walk right by as he was painting...turkeys and deer. Made me feel like l really was appreciated,first time in quite awhile. Keep going Rooster, your on the right path!

The Commandment to Love Your Neighbor In Leviticus 19:18, God commands, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Jesus later reaffirms this as the second greatest commandment, after loving God, in Matthew 22:39. This commandment calls us to treat others with the same respect, compassion, and fairness we would want for ourselves. The Good Samaritan In Luke 10:25-37, Jesus shares the parable of the Good Samaritan, where a Samaritan man helps a wounded stranger whom others ignored. This story teaches that being a neighbor transcends social, ethnic, or religious boundaries and is defined by showing mercy and care to anyone in need. Often, people forget to “love thy neighbor” because they may not have a good neighbor themselves. But that’s not what this commandment is really about. As the saying goes, “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.” Just because others may not be good neighbors doesn’t mean we should stop being one. It takes zero effort to be a decent human being. Sometimes, a simple smile or an acknowledgment can make a difference and even prevent someone from doing something unthinkable. Absolutely brother ghost kinda bummed me out , but folks are stressed out I get that , but dammed, people either look like they’re terrified of you or they lost all their teeth and they won’t smile , I’m missing a couple 🦷us older folks still smile . Thank you my brother 🤝
