Let me give everyone a good line against the SEC… if you don’t know the difference between a digital asset and a security, how can the SEC be trusted to carry out their main oversight of securities? Does the SEC know what a security is? Since they can’t tell the difference between the two aforementioned then it’s assumed they don’t know the definition of a security.

Banks have to be backed by GOLD by the time of the Basel III compliant rule or something. If not by their dates, some or any banks might close or collapse IF they are NOT Basel III compliant, so if this is at all true who knows. Now wow if banks list Bitcoin and XRP, this is making much more sense to us.
I think they mean market's in terms of commercial use reach, like when Ripple says they've expanded and network covers over 95% of the FX market, obviously they haven't captured that not because they don't have a tech or demand issue, but because since 2014, they've had to deal with a corrupt government and central banks. So I think it's smart to make that statement. Brad said it in 2017, XRP was 2nd and if Ripple was not sued that statement about the biggest markets would be true, especially since Ripple has everything in place to flip the switch and all the crypto space is waiting on is regulatory clarity. Businesses project all the time so if I was BBVA I'd tell my clients the same thing that XRP has the biggest market clients, use cases and potential in finance so buy it now before it cost more to play and that would be a true statement.
