Frankie Paul's songs are popular here in Kenya bro. He sings like Dennis Emmanuel Brown. Rub a dub market is a song I grew up listening to in a highland village of central Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪. Now educated with a university degree, I know a lot about Jamaican reggae music more than you can imagine. Following those musician's resting sites through you is the best gift I receive from this channel as it is hard to do from Kenya. Keep up the good work bro
Thanks for showing us the grave and reminding us of a legendary singer.....Frankie took The Gambia as his second home and The entire Gambia as well embraced him as one of us, We loved him and we are all proud of him...RIP LEGEND
F P was super loved in The Gambia 🇬🇲 and the day he died, all the radio stations played his music the whole day. It was a very sad day 😔 RIP Mr F P. We will continue to celebrate you ❤❤❤❤❤
You make me laugh with your singing “🎵 ow owe owe.” Those songs by him have left an indelible mark on reggae. Frankie, Pinchers, Sanchez in that era had dancehall singjay on lock! Continue to keep your unique content coming to us. We appreciate you and I hope your channel grows from strength to strength! ❤️
Love Frankie Paul he used to come to Greenwich Town all the time also saw Barrington Levy Tiger there came to check other singers in GF. When I was going to HS we used to go to a record shop near Ocean Blvd in the little mall at harbour front. The rasta guy used to sell records at a record shop there cant remember his name. He was very respectful never once made a pass at us school girls. Tall brown rasta always looked out for us. Frankie Paul was there many times we went there. Talked and laughed w us. That rasta was living in GF also very nice person. Casanova and I know the score ....play them all the time. RIP Frankie. What a powerhouse singer.
Thank you for showing us where Paul is finally resting. "FP" is in my top 5 favourite Reggae artists alongside Dennis, Garnet, Bob and Freddie. He had such a smooth distinctive rich tone to his voice. He did so many great songs, from the Roots messages, to the Dancehall hits and the Lovers tunes. It's hard to choose my favourites, but I especially love "Fools Fighting" "Survival" " I Know The Way Of The Weak Heart" "Gimmie That Potion" " Stormy Night" He's sadly missed, but I hope he's now free from illness and pain.
what a BIG beautiful voice Mr Frankie Paul was blessed with 🎉🎉 my favs are I know the score, Sarah, Cassonova, Fire deh a mus mus tail 😍 RIP FP ❤️ PS Nigel I was smiling while you were singing I love your sense of humor 😊😊
Greetings Nigel. I am always loving your videos, you're doing a great great job brother I loved Frankie p and missing him alot . When he was admitted in the uwi hospital my mother worked there and to great care of him while he was there . When my mom told me that he died I was shocked, but he was very sick I was told , sorry to have loose him so early in his life time. He was very very ill . Thank you again Nigel awesome my brother keep it up.
Nigel, thank you very much for this video about the Jamaican Stevie Wonder, the late, great Frankie Paul. One of my favorite reggae and dancehall singers. One of my favorite songs from FP was his rendition of "Walk Away From Love", originally sung by David Ruffin, former lead singer of The Temptations. He sounded almost exactly like David Ruffin, in voice and phrasing of the lyrics. May he continue to Rest In Peace, and forever Rest In Paradise.
Respect and thank you for showing us the grave of Frankie Paul, i am asking you please if you could let us see the grave of Gregory isaacs and also Hugh mundell a reggae singer who was shot to death in about 1983 please and thanks
Remember meeting him here in Brooklyn years ago love me some him still can’t believe he’s gone ❤continue to rest Frankie you earned those wings indeed you did 🙏🏽
Met Frankie Paul before the hits at Channel One,his voice range was wicked,he sang black roses by Barrington Levy,he then done a John Holt & Dennis Brown,i knew he'd make it,pity i didn't have enough money to cut two dub plates,R.I.P FP!

Watching from the UK 🇬🇧 . I know we all have to go, one day. But I find it very disturbing , and disrespectful . For a man that give so much, contributions to Reggae music and Dance hall. His head stone, should look with way more honor. Like Dennis Brown. All the sound men , Stone Love, Gemini kilkaman Jaro . Should all come together, with the family and make his grave stone look much more presentable . My favourite Frankie Paul is the closer i get to you . And Sarah, and fire dea muss muss tail bad dog like me . RIP Frankie Paul ❤
There is nothing disrespectful about head stone etc when we die. The dead are unconscious in death. The body returns to the dust and our spirit return to God who gave it.
