X-MEN Timeline Explained! Dark Phoenix Update! (2000 - 2019 Full Chronology)

- Опубліковано 6 жов 2024
- Dark Phoenix concludes this version of the X-Men film series, but how does it bring the X-Men timeline full circle with X-Men (2000), X-Men First Class (2011), X-Men Days of Future Past (2014), Logan (2017), and Deadpool (2016)? Where does Dark Phoenix fit in the X-Men chronology along with X-Men Apocalypse (2016) and X-Men The Last Stand (2006)? Erik Voss breaks down the full X-Men timeline, for the movies released 2000 - 2019, set from years spanning from 1845 through 2029. Which X-Men movies were "erased" from the timeline with Days of Future Past, and how does Deadpool, Legion (FX), and New Mutants fit in the timeline? Why was Dark Phoenix delayed so many times, reshot, and dumped by the studio? Where are all the plot holes and continuity errors in the X-Men chronology? What X-Men film should have ended the Fox Marvel series?

I got so confused around first class
O-Toko Maka But first class made sense because I was just telling the story of magneto mistake and Charles because it was 40 years before the first X-Men but when they stopped aging that’s when things got really weird because it’s like shouldn’t they be old by now
Most of them have different directors or they changed their minds.

Facts it'll just cause more problems
This ain’t the MCU.
@@TJUC123 It is now a part of Disney so this X-Men franchise are in Multiverse alternate Earth so basically when the multiverse is gonna introduce to MCU then this will be part of MCU but not connected

FN-1701AgentGodzillaRangerPrime they really are, just make them in chronological order. Disgusting. Disappointment.
@FN-1701AgentGodzillaRangerPrime In Deadpool 2 wolverine was dead, but professor x was still young... In Logan(the movie that wolverine died) professor x was old. How does this even make sense?!
Deadpool shit so all good
The important thing is that X-Men makes the MCU timeline look almost pristine by comparison...
That’s including the fact that I can’t tell if the current season of SHIELD takes place in the same universe as the Avengers anymore.
I thought the whole point of X-Men: Days of Future Past was to change the entire timeline that we already thought we knew. So everything after Days of Future past is different from the original X-men movies.
Exactly lol, idk why everyone is so confused
aaaaaaa this makes sense
It is and with that change since we’re talking about timelines basically they split making they’re own timelines
Yeah true but changing the past doesn't change how characters age.
It was. People love to obsess over everything instead of enjoying the movie. “Critics” like this loser lol
This is why YOU MAKE YOUR MOVIES CHRONOLOGICALLY

I have to agree with most of what you say except for one part: the reason why Mystique hasn't aged a day since X-men First Class was explained in X-men First Class itself. It was said by Hank McCoy, "You gotta see this. Your genes are extraordinary, you know that? Your cells age at half the rate of a normal human. When you're forty, you'll still have the leukocytes of a teenager" Which can explain why, at least for Mystique, the age of their appearance hasn't changed.

I don't think so.
The first 10 minutes of the film with Wolverine as a kid and the war montage all happened before both First Class and Days of Future Past so it's unaffected by Kitty's time-changing powers.
