in a free economy like singapore ,my 6" android phone is just S$135 or (US$100) & on a 5GB /mo data plan. Add S$30 for unlimited data should you exceed this 5GB. Been using it for about 2 years now. Carriers are too big to compete , sounds the same everwhere.

You must have missed the new Cricket plans before you made this video. The new Cricket $45 plan gets you 5GB of data. The $35 plan gives you 2.5GB of data. $55 plan has 20GB of data.

With a locked phone While it’s still being paid for can I take the SIM card out and put it in another phone I bought unlocked or do I have to wait to upgrade until the locked phone is paid off fully

Me as a Brit shocked by how much even your sim only plans are: I’m on contract with my phone and paying £23.99 a month for 5gb of data (with rollover), unlimited minutes and texts....

Really? I am also British, but if you want the flagship phones with data, and haven’t bought your phone outright, then you’d be paying at least £60 per month. Remember this was 2014, those phones may be rubbish now, but they used to be flagships.

How to save even more money: refurbished smartphones. A galaxy S8 from 2016 was about £600/$650 originally and you can now get one for around £200ish with warranties (warranty length depending on the company, from 3 months to 24). The phone is still a great smartphone. Unfortunately iPhones retain their value a lot more but you can still get them discounted if you get them refurbished!

i am just laughing out loud here in romania with orange , for only 6 euro a month you can get 6 gb of 4g network 2000 min of calling 300 min of sms anddd 30 gb of network can be used with a 6 euro option , and they also do from time to time to do quiz-es , send a something to some more fellow friends that have orange , like orange love with heartbeat , the bigger heartbeat the more internet you get and free sms and calling in the same network (orange network), i do have to say i am not in contract .
