- Some experiences are way more then just a hunt and this was one of those experiences. Scott and his beautiful family were struck with tragedy last year. They experienced something no parent ever wants to go through. Our good buddy at Stone Mountain Outfitters decided he wanted to do something to help Scott get through this tough time and we were very grateful to be a part of it.

One of the pillars of "why" we started Hush is too give back...both in our local and hunting communities. Over the years we've been blessed to help share and tell stories that connect with people...that evoke emotion and with any luck help others along the way. Some of these videos are profound in their impact not only for those whose stories we've told, but also for anyone who may come across them on a day they needed to see it. "Find A Way" with Daniel was one that touched a lot of people and made an impact in a profound way and our most recent video, "More Than Just A Hunt" will also become the same way. Scott and his family are beyond brave for sharing this difficult story and Ben Rogers of Stone Mountain Outfitters is one of the greatest humans you'll ever meet. Scott. My thoughts with you understand where your at. Lost a daughter 23 years ago. just a baby. Still as strong a presence today as 23 years ago. Have 3 other boys you seem to treasure everyday moments as blessed. m y prayers are with you and your family. We are all not alone. Lean on them whenever you need. Your new friends I suggest will be there with you forever whenever. As so many others you don't know but do know where your at and are praying for you and your family. Hushlife 👍.

Sometimes it’s not always about the hunt it’s about the story, live your work fellas and how you bring everyone together. Happy Father’s Day to all those here today and the ones who can’t be.
Videos like this is why I enjoy watching the Hush videos and buying things from their store. My prayers go out to Scott and is family. As a father I am not sure that I could deal with the loss of my child. I had to wipe tears from my eyes when I watched this video.

This is something that no parent should ever have to go through or know what this pain feels like. My wife and I lost our son at birth 5 years ago this 28th and it never gets any easier. I wish you the best in your life sir and the most for your family.
Wow what Heart string pulling story Scott. My condolences from my family to your family. Forty two years ago me and my wife lost our son at one month old from SIDS .There's never a day that goes by that I don't think of our son Leon would have grown up to be.I believe that Leon was my Angel in 2020 when I had my double lung transplant and he helped me go through that surgery.So there's going to be the cutest little Angel watching over you and your family.God bless and take care

I’ve been watching you guys for a couple of years now. I woke up very early this morning after a restless night, and a hunting video to occupy my mind for a while turned out to be more than what I was expecting. Scott’s story about his son...two days ago was the fourth anniversary of my own sons passing. My emotions are always near the surface, and I still often struggle to regain my composure enough to get the words out when speaking of him. Makes for an uncomfortable but respectful silence from those observing my struggle. I better than most understand the courage it took for Scott to talk about his son. I felt like I had said everything that could be said within the first couple of weeks of his death, and the past four years I only repeat the same painful feelings because the pain hasn’t gone away. I too want others to know Jamison, that his life mattered, and that he was special to his family and we love him. I’m glad Scott and his family have good people around them giving the support that at least can provide moments of happiness during a time of grief.

The sportsman community is second to none man!! So many people think we're just mindless killers of everything and that couldn't be farther from the truth, genuine love of the land, animals and our fellow outdoorsmen!! Love this story and video it’s my favorite one by far. The same thing happened to me my son past away 7 months old to sir and the hush crew reached out and really showed who they are I got an amazing letter from the crew and will always be a hush supporter thank you for sharing this story.

Truly a heart felt story. My sister passed at the young age of 7, I was 5. I'm 61 now and I still to this day think about her and try to envision the person she would have become. It's truly a hard thing to get through. Stay strong Scott, God bless.

That was a tough one my friend and it took a man to do what you did hear in this video and tell us the story. Time will heal and seems like the woods helps us all thru our darkest times. Congrats on a beautiful black bear. The hush group are a group of guys that have this bond that's unbreakable and for them to tag along on this hunt says a lot about them and it does mean a lot saying the sportsmen group do look out for each other. The camera work was exceptional and the clarity was mind boggling, awesome work and even better story. Be safe out there fellas.

My family and I use to hunt about twenty five miles from Buffalo and Sheridan Wyoming we hunted Lower Piney Creek seven miles west of Ucross on Hwy 14
