Terry, Have you had a chance to try this out on some trails? I just got back from a trip (the second long trail ride with my Talon) and I have been struggling keeping me foot from constantly "goosing" the throttle over every bump. I finally figured out if I keep my foot as vertical as possible with my heal as far forward as possible I can substantially smooth out the ride. However it is not a very comfortable way to control the throttle. I wonder if this rest may help. From your video it does not look lie it is forward enough. With my foot near vertical my heal sits in the first or second second ridge back. In the video it looks like the rest as far forward as possible is only at the 4th ridge. I may be able to modify it to move it forward more.
I've ridden several times since we installed it. It works well for me where it's mounted but I'm considering moving it to the left a little so my foot can be a bit more angled. Would be simple enough to trim it a bit if you needed it farther forward.
Ebay. I like it a lot. Requires cutting the flat section of the top of the shift lever. I used the smallest sleeve. Worked fine and matches my Dragonfire D shaped wheel. www.ebay.com/itm/F998-Universal-Leather-Gear-Shift-Knob-Head-Shifter-Black-Red-Line-for-Car/392702270490?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Thanks Mike!
Keep us updated if it helps with touchy throttle on bouncing type terrain
Will do. Just buzzing around the neighborhood I feel like it will be a great addition.
What kind of shifter knob is that?
