EA WRC has a lot of its unlockables behind a paywall. Plus, the game resets you from level 20 back to level 1 every so often, forcing you to grind the Level 20 unlockables each new season. But because not everyone has the time to grind, the whole system just incentivises purchasing the unlockables. That is the biggest drawback of EA WRC as it no longer feels like a Codemasters game but rather a typical EA published game.
Still, DIRT RALLY 2.0 looks best for me.
3:55 is a good example to look why EA WRC is nothing compared to Dirt Rally 2.0. You see the mud on the back of the car, you hear high pitched sound when you use the handbrake. Graphically it looks much more pleasing. WRC is just less immersive in general, I was looking at the byrider next to me in WRC and he wasn't even moving just staring blank at a paper. I also don't like that the hands always open up on the steering wheel in WRC like wtf is even that.
All great games, happy to own all of them.
ea wrc is worse than dirt rally, the rain and snow effects r ugly
it seems as if EA WRC was a stepback, mainly in graphics.
