    You have to stop apologizing for making long videos, the fact that they are longs means you go through everything in details which is perfect.

    Another amazing video. You seem to be the only clear, concise, and reliable source I can find that goes into detail on TIA Portal and everything I need to do for my job.

  • @strawberry4450

    I have a faceplate with a lot of tags connected to it and I wanted to make two versions without retagging. So I split the same faceplate into two projects and updated them to be different and different names and versions. But when I recombine they still think they are the same faceplate. Its so frustrating. I don't want to duplicate type since I lose all my connections to the given faceplate. Anyone seen this before? Have a solution?

    Hey. Is it possible to connect the entire DataBlock to FacePlate? I have FunctionBlock for scaling analogs. There are low and high level alarms and other functions. I want to connect DB with FacePlate once, instead of linking each value separately. I know that it is possible to connect UDT. Can you explain this topics. :)

    • @hegamurl7434
      @hegamurl7434  4 роки тому +1

      Very good question, have never done it before with UDT... I don't know if it is possible, but I will check

    • @DeKempster
      @DeKempster 4 роки тому +1

      Yes this is possible. You have to put in the udt as a type, instead of the integer in the video. i think this was added in V14 and onwards.

    Thats one of the best uses of an HMI, btw is it possible to do something similar, about using parameters but with an HMI Image? I mean, in a basic panel where the display is small and it isn't viable to use a pop-up screen, is it posible to use the same HMI image with multiple conexion on its elements ?

    • @scodorov

    Is it possible to use PLC’s as a type of controller in robotic arms

    • @hegamurl7434
      @hegamurl7434  4 роки тому +2

      Possible, yes. But no one would do it, because you would need quite complex additional electronics. It is better to us a designated robot controller. PLC's don't control Robots directly, but send signals to those dedicated robot controllers to tell them what to do

    • @omarsharafeisa1663
