Hi Hussain. These pigeons was taken care of as they was causing damage to a barley crop.All the pigeons killed was either eater for human consumption or as ferret food .We will not kill them if we do not have a use for them. cheers

In the current climate I don’t think it’s a good idea to post this it only gives the anti shooting movement more ammunition and another ban on shooting, I’m not anti shooting having shot for more years than I can remember but this is not helping and can only give the likes of Chris Packham and his followers something else to take to the government.

Hi Zeus fortunately these are different types of pigeon to the ones used for communication .All the pigeons killed are then put into the food chain .Thank you for commenting

I am never impressed with these large bags of birds shot in mid summer with the possibility of squabs starving in the next. I know you will say they are pests but I still say it's wrong, and gives ammunition to the likes of the Chris Peckhams of this world. I would go further a give them a proper closed season

I'm no environmentalist, but I felt extreme pain, disgust and sadness watching these pigeons being shot like this... I feel hurt.
How would we like it if pigeons did this to us? laughing as they kill us one by one, then how would we react?
