My Dad did solid surface (Corian) for 15 years. Did a number of jobs with the coved backsplash. He would inset the "filler" piece and then add a 1/4" backer to scribe the wall to the up right backsplash. Was alot of work but always looked great. He would even do a short cove if the customer wanted tile backsplash.

Where would I get a router and base like that?
I was wondering how he was gonna do this.. then was like.. oh YEAH of course it'll work with a $1200 coving router.
