Love your content LVD, I think i like this version more than normal domain! :D , i would add a copy of recruiter tho, Recruiter + Herd Migration are the only reason the control matchup is manageable. Look forward to more of your awesome content! TY
People are finally waking up to how good cornucopia is and the bad part is its price has skyrocketed in the past week in paper. But on arena I can tell you, the dirtiest deck with it runs 4x intimidation campaign, 4x cornucopias and 4x three steps ahead- the rest interaction. I've ended games with 100+ life when those are my only sources. Very reliable 3 life per cornucopia per turn. You know you're in a good spot when you actually just let an opponent keep ~10 power on board when you have a wipe in hand because you're gaining 12+ life per turn and they need to commit *more*.
Oof, them needing more than 10 power before you wrath reminds me of old days playing Eternal where I'd run essentially an artifact that taps to tap creatures, one of those cards you would think of as just some limited nonsense, to both pop Aegis, that game's version of Hexproof (think of it as like shield counters, they're the closest thing in mtg), and just to force my opponents to over commit on-board before I dropped wrath effects. I think that was in my creatureless Control deck that ran an effect like Wildnerness Reclamation, and then killed you with a giant sword to the face.
Don't know why I thought I'd seen you say that someone helped you make them Luca. The fact you do it yourself is even more amazing. They are always fun and imaginative. Glad you have fun making them too!
Match 1 alone shows jusy how dummy powerful the passive lifegain from cornucopia is!!! Jeez I wish the vault cards from OTJ had a higher pull rate. So many of the mythics are incredibly cost prohibitive for paper players 😞
"I'm surprised our opponent is still playing" - 48:54 How true this is.... Seriously, I've had matches where the opponents has 1 life, 9 poison, no cards in hand, 1 card in their deck that's a land, and no permanents except basic lands And I'm like at 30 life, 7 cards in hand, 40 cards in deck, and sheoldred, the apocalypse on the field. They'll still be like, "your go" Like bro, wtf, just top right and stop wasting everyone's time. You could have done that 5 minutes ago.
If the player i am against seems like a nice enough I will allow the player to see their combo through, so they can see it in action. if they are being an ass and drawing it out I'll just concede.
seriously, imagine queueing up a deck that packs up & goes home to "cycle two cards for 6 life" there are times I wish ranked ladder had some - cost to entry, or more aggressive deranking? something - to suppress the low effort agros

I mention it at the end of the video, definitely a solid choice for the control matchup, assuming they didn't already mill it with Jace.
@@LegenVD Apologies, must have missed that :)
very nice video quality mate!
Glad you enjoyed it

I mean it shouldn’t be a mythic, rare would have been more reasonable for a niche card like it
@@honestabe411it would most likely had been a rare if Big Score was it's own set like they planned
do you got a particular list? im curious to try this out

Thinking about those beans
Damn, you beat me to it....
When playing cornucopia and beans it's better, I think, to wait to gain life or not until post-bean draws
OMG, "crush their hopes and dreams", made me laugh so hard it hurt! Great deck Luca, very enjoyable video :)
A+ thumbnail! I think you said before Legend, that someone helps create these for you - they are certainly doing an awesome job. 😀
He does the thumbnails himself, it's amazing how dedicated LVD is to his craft

Arena players too, they changed the economy to starve us on mythic wildcards
Fitting he played Skittles yesterday
Great title!
47:44 - LegenVd drops the gnarliest board obliterating turn and ends it with "... okay!"
i would love to see you raise the full potential of sunbird standard. that card is CRACKED in lists that fully support it
Roxanne was bullying the other Brawlers in the MTGA midweek
ROOOOOXAAAAANNNE!
You don't have to put on the red light
Those days are over
You don't have to sell your body to the night
51:35 Yes, that is not two bat(s).
26:36 Could Ertai counter the etb effect once you pay the ward cost? I believe so. Edit: and again with Get Lost
Yes you should be able too, not sure if you need to be in full control for it to work though.
These beans go on when I close my eyes...
Roooooxanne!
Our brains are connected. Lmao
Every time he said Roxanne, I started singing the song.

I wish wizards took the time and effort to classify the rarity of the big score cards...

1 color deck please?? When???
Just did one yesterday!
Ah yes, the MtG equivalent of that one scene from Blazing Saddles...
legend uploaded 15 minutes early but im still here
I feel bad for any aggro decks that run into this on ladder.
Thanks......I hate it.
