I'm not doing anything special. I'm a judge and I just judge on the site. The entire reason I became a judge was to help my friend Xteven run the site and help the community. thanks for the positivity tho I really dont see a lot of that when on the site judging.
thank you db grinder for brining back this series. i was eating my stir fry and it needed a bit more salt, this video provided the extra salt. thank you db grinder
That judge call was pretty ridiculous. at first I thought they were just not declaring which effect at that point then learned it was about the turn prior. I'm not sure what mindset they had to think they did not have to tell them what x effect was used in the prior turn to do x thing. after I resolved it I went to deal with some other judge stuff on another tab and monitor and checked back and they were arguing again. sometimes it is just a neverending uphill battle.
1st call was to find out what lock they were under. 2nd was just me not reading silva since DW first came out and not knowing if it was accepted game state or not.
The outcome could have been very different game 3. On activation of COH you use harbinger to take then if he tried to evenly you use grapha effect and you win from there.
Wait hold. I love how grinder roasting him for apex bad when it was eh, but the bird player Sametime told his opponent to banish the zalamander detached from bagooska while only under fissure
12:10 Genexwrecker is literally wrong here though. Actions last turn are no longer public knowledge. Not defending either person and haven't finished yet but he got that call wrong. He probably works with some different ruleset since it's DB and there's logs anyway.
Both players still have to keep the game state legal so they have to know which phase will be skipped next turn. It was so childish from red being so butthurt by not just telling his opponent which phase will be skipped or just tell him to check the logs. Instead of being a jerk just tell your opponent which phase will be skipped it's not the end of the world.
If a player activates swords of revealing light and a turn later the opp asks if it was acitvated on X turn then you need to tell them. people always read the kde articles but dont take practicality or how they would actually be implemented. it might not be directly considered "public knowledge in definition" but knowledge of the gamestate itself must be upkept and both players are responsible for upholding it. effects or conditions that were set the turn prior must be remembered and communicated if asked now this is not all encompassing. you cannot for example go "hey what did you add off rota last turn" thats not allowed and you should not be answering that. but the question of "hey did you resolve called by the grave last turn banishing ash blossom?" that you need to answer.
all plays made can by nature be something of public knowlege. however some things do not need to be answered when asked a turn later and some do. Due to articles and regulatiosn that require both players to uphold the gamestate questions about actions from a prior turn are perfectly fine to maintain the gamestate properly. like stated above a lot of questions you do not and should not answer a turn later but some you should.
I have a rule question: what happens if I have, for example, 9 cards in my hand and a danger! activate effect. the die only goes up to 6. how is that handled then?
There’s no clear method in which to decide this within the policy documents. If it was me and it was a friendly game then just choose. At locals or above I’d recommend rolling two dice and having nine or higher as “re-roll” this way the card chosen is actually randomized. As the opponent choosing a card is technically not random.
Completely agree dude. Konami needs to make a more in depth method with dealing with this. Honestly picking would be so easy but I feel it could lead to cheating. Honestly no good way until Konami instructs us otherwise
@@Xvhalk3rieX but that's exactly what I don't understand. why should it be cheating? when you activate the effect then your hand will automatically shuffle. thus it is a random choice for the opponent
With the dugares thing it kinda made sense dude could’ve been half paying attention to the game which is fair and the op didn’t say which eff they were using which was incorrect
No, he need to banish ronina (because it helps to access all Floo monsters), next he keep ronina in hand and summon both eglen and toccan, that way his board can't be wiped by zeus. But seriously, why you put going 1st card in your main deck while that could be drnm and he then can easily out bagooska. His next turn is even more mind blowing. Because he can just go map, empen, battle phase force zeus then m2 nor mal summon. Obviously this guy is a newbie Floowandreeze.
Sometimes Yugioh players can be the most childish people on earth. Both of these players should Venmo the judge for taking time out of their life to resolve their petty issues for them. It’s crazy to think that the majority of players are like 20+ years old too
These low rated db replays just absolutely full of misplays and cheating have been hilarious lately. Like I get nobody knows how Darkworld plays for some reason but damn, the discourse is genuinely hysterical.
Y my birds keep losing in these videos I mean it's ok if u lose to a better deck if both decks did the best they could but if both not even on the same level that's bad
all this complaining, but idk what was the red player's problem? i mean he could just could answer the question instead of being a d*ck, yes sure guy could search in the logs, but i mean why wasting time on something that can be solved in half of a second?
The flunder player having access to every card they could want and losing to the on board zeus was peak flunder brain

Only two scenarios where a floo player should be salty: 1. They bricked. 2. They played correctly but the opponent still has the go second out.
I was not salty at all.
I’m not even 5 minutes in and im crying watching this Flunder pilot play
