    I like how full your hair looks with your new growth. A braid out would look bomb after this blow out.

    It looks really nice and full. Bone straight is cute but it tends to make your hair look thin when it's not.

    This was an excellent tutorial for me, as your hair is the most coarse I have seen using the Dyson hair dryer. I'm a 4c, and the video has given me a lot of information on whether to buy or not. Appreciate your honesty, and we all learned. I too am a bit un-coordinated, cause I'm lefthanded. Thanks for sharing

    Thanks so much for this review. I have this and only use the paddle dryer. The curls don’t last two minutes and the dryer doesn’t straighten enough to make curls turn out smooth. Still need a flat iron. Too bad they also want a ridiculous amount for the flat iron. I agree they should let people customize their own kits at this price point.

    • @twolala1
      @twolala1  2 роки тому

      Yes that flatiron is ridiculously expensive

    I've wanted this Dyson set since it came out but idk if I wanna drop the cash. I think I'm gonna get it from QVC so I don't have to pay for it all at once, lol. You did really good with the curls on the first try. Thanks for showing all the different ways you used it. I think it's worth it just off of less heat damage alone not to mention all of the attachments you get plus they're always adding to them. Great video 💜

    I relax once sometimes twice a year if I get to it and my new growth is no issue as I roller set my hair at salon twice a month with tension rollers and that does stretches the roots nicely.

    I brought the kwik hooded dryer this week, so I have to space out getting another dryer. Lol😂 my husband don’t get why the bathroom turning into a mini salon.

    Your hair looks great and full, hopefully the wrap was bouncy the next day. Maybe pinning the curls as you finish or doing the curls on damp relaxed hair after running the firm brush through the roots a few times would help? Idk, it seems pretty fun to experiment with

    Have you ever heard of girls that are straight hair naturals? I think that would be beneficial for you since you already stretch your relaxers for so long.

    Is there a reason why you're 12 months post relaxer if you're not transitioning? I thought it really unhealthy for relaxed hair to let stretch relaxers so long...

    • @twolala1
      @twolala1  2 роки тому +10

      We always recommend stretching your relaxers and yes if not done correctly, you can damage your hair while stretching. I trained my hair to stretch because I don’t want to keep
      Getting relaxers every 3 months. Not everyone can do relaxers once a year. I always say I’m going to bump it up to 2x a year but I never do.

      @@twolala1 I get relaxers twice a year. However, I will soon transition to getting them once a year as well because I really don’t like getting it even twice a year.
      Love your hair. Doesn’t look like you need a relaxer.♥️❤️

      @@twolala1 If you can go that long stretching your relaxer, you might as well just go all out natural🤷🏾‍♀️. It looks like the Dyson tools might help make the transition smoother❣️

    Next time, show us how well the straightening is by holding the Dyson on your roots longer!
    Don't pull it through so fast, know what I mean?
    Will you be using it again before your relaxer retouch?

    Thanks for your review. I was also thinking of a revlon type round blow dry brush. Would you recommend this dyson over the supersonic type.

    Does your hair not break if you stretch relaxer that long or did you switch to keratin? I really need a routine and I don’t know what to dooo

      My hair would NEVER survive a once a year relaxer. You know what works for your own hair. I would say relax at the recommended timeframes. 8-12 weeks. Whatever works in that timeframe. Olaplex products have been a major lifesaver for my relaxed her whenever my hair starts to snap when there’s new growth but I could absolutely not go longer than 12 weeks. I’d be bald. There’s lots of good videos on UA-cam with relaxer regimens/tips that have really helped me

  • @Lunadish

    What I don't understand and will never understand is using heat on hair already weakened by relaxing. For me, it is a double aggression. I also think that your hair has become much thinner over time.
