5 years back while watching this movie in the theatre I thought that I understood this movie completely. I didn't even think that all those scenes that made me laugh had this much inner meaning. Prabhu Ram kills when need be, stands by his conviction and truth and lies when his heart is filled with emotion. May be, just may be, you can talk about a 1000 years of colonisation that changed the whole male-female equation in--'our society'. PS: Until the early 20th century many Bible thumping countries were still debating whether women were human or not. There are academic papers testifying to that. So, please, question this attitude that somehow it is 'our society'. Doesn't take away from the fact that you write beautifully and have great analytical skills.
