I don't know of a better drummer in jazz than Brian Blade. And this is not only about the perfection of every smallest detail in his music, but also about his shining inner state during performance, which he so brilliantly conveys to every listener.
My favourite drummer 💕 Brian Blade
His sound on drums just.. really perfect 🤩
Friggin jaw dropping. Most dynamic and spicy drummer I’ve ever heard.

From 9.30 onwards. Groove and technique. Pasion and touch. A perfect jazz drum solo.
OMG
Found it and now hear this every day. Not from this planet!!!! Your musicality is so amazing. And Brian, you are one of the most inspiring musicians and for me the best drummer in this world.
Thanks for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoy it!
wow everything this man does is musical i love him this guitar player is killer as well
All of my favorite treats here: each individual has a beautiful sound on his instrument and the ensemble sound is equally as beautiful, due to the high level of listening and sensitive interplay; attention to dynamics, rhythmic density/counterpoint; no wanking or gratuitous virtuosity, just a sense of a story told, a journey embarked upon...Excellent work, thank you for this gift!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Mark!
What a treat this is!
Prime example of stellar performance content/stellar video & audio production
Thank you, Tommy!
So happy to come across this!
Priceless interplay . Dope . 👏 👍
Between Two Worlds is an excellent album. Thank you for making this performance available for viewing, as well as the video of Lost And Found earlier this year. I'm hoping that you could possibly share a couple more vids from the Freight & Exchange show. It's quite interesting to watch the improvisation and musical invention live as it happened on stage.
What a flow and groove. Stoked
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
Wow! A really wonderful trio.

Thank you, Neal! We're going back into the studio soon, so hopefully you'll get the chance to see us when we're on the road again!
So good ! Magical interplay between three wonderful musicians
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Really awesome stuff! I wonder how they compose this stuff?
Awesome as always. It’s just too bad musicians are having to sit the summer out, as are a lot of people.
This video is a bright spot in the otherwise unfortunate summer of Covid boredom
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, Eli!
Jeff Denson feel free to post more of this concert😉
