Indian Head River Restoration Information Session

Reconnecting free flowing rivers through dam removal is an essential part of habitat restoration. This public information session provides an overview of the NSRWA's Indian Head River Restoration project which will look at the potential for reconnecting and restoring the health of the Indian Head River. We are in the early stages of a feasibility study to better understand the impacts of removing two dams - Luddam's Ford Dam and State Street Dam. Learn about the effects dams have on the health of our rivers, project background and status, and hear representatives from state and local boards respond to participant questions.
