Lmao I really don't think he proved anyone wrong. After all the dumbass inconsiderate things he has done, is anyone really that surprised right now that he's a nazi? Many people saw this coming lol
This series is important stuff for students of the music industry. Seeing how someone else's process works is invaluable, and seeing how the system adapts to whoever's in & around it is even more fascinating.
the amount of watchtime i must’ve given your channel in the wait for this video is absurd. this video is genuinely such an inspiration for me in getting my ass up and making something, not to mention the live chat of this video is one of the best. thanks for putting so much time into this. the effort payed off!
I know everyone talks about how they feel about Kanye but it really moves me to tears going back and seeing Kanye grow over the years. It’s like watching a family member you grew up with and who inspired you heavily when you were young, reliving why you looked up to them so much, reliving when they went through tragedy and changed. It’s like you look at them now and know you can’t interact with them anymore without trouble following, but everytime you see them you think about the good times together. Idk it’s a comforting and sad feeling knowing the good times happened but they’ll never be like that again
Thanks for this documentary on Ye. I'm a 63 yr. old w/f and I had no idea how talented this "still young" artist is. I look forward to his future musical creations and collaborations with other artist.
This was one of the most fantastic things that I have ever watched. It took me over a month to watch this trilogy in it’s entirety, and I appreciated every moment about it. Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this masterpiece!
I edit videos myself, and seeing how well this is edited and put together is absolutely insane to me. I wouldn’t an able to make more than a 30 minute video of this quality without going insane
Finally finished. I don’t have words man. 7 hours of the best researched, most entertaining documentary about anything I’ve ever seen. I really appreciate Ye now especially towards the end with the getting rejected so many times. Thanks for making this man, big love to you
I didn't realize how little I knew about Kanye. I love that this video is so focused around his work, it helped me gain a much better appreciation of his music. It's crazy how much work he puts into these projects and then they just get left unreleased. I love love love your extensive hypercuts of the original samples and the impact his music had on the industry as a whole. Finding the sources for his music references, the repetition over his career. From Yeezus to Billie Eilish. I want to watch the pilot of a little inappropriate. I want to hear the Irish musician who plays Kanye Bob Dylan music. I look forward to part 4!
The first two videos got me into Kanye and he became my favorite artist shortly after. Seeing part 3 finally released make some feel incredibly thankful.
Same for me, man My favorite rappers were the ones from 90's, like Biggie and Pac, and I didn't think he was a good rapper or human being because of his polemics But, thanks to this series, I learned more about Ye and now he is and will always be my favorite rapper and artist
Even if I had to stop half way through the video, I came back in the morning to finish this. One of the greatest forms of media to exist, and one I'll look back on with only positive memories. Your Hard work has paid off in my eyes.
I love how different segments are like their own video. I genuinely thought I was watching a 20 minute video on a DOOM x Kanye album, then I remembered it’s a 7hr iceberg video.
I'm still flabbergasted at how you you kept me captivated for about 10hours in the span of two days... you got a crazy work ethic... top tier content... wow
A lot of what I do and how I feel is similar to Kanyes struggle in music. Mine is in Architecture. They didn't even want to let me pass my first semester, now I run my own practice and I'm building my own development. In the next 10 years someone will be making an iceberg about me. Screenshot this comment bros, in 10 years we will be celebrating my completed tower projects, the likes of which the world has never seen before. God bless. Thanks for the awesome video
@@jjk087 I'm not in architecture but I relate to your passion and willingness to take a chance and make something of yourself. I pray that I too can find that same level of commitment and dedication in myself
@@ryanpowell5044 you will, but you have to find what gets you going. For me it's when people say I can't do it or im not good. For some people it's the opposite. Others just need the right situation around them. That's why the more you move the more chance you have. Go out to events, talk to people you see anywhere you go, at the shops or anywhere. Do free work and use it in your catalogue. All this stuff is movement, and with the right movement the proper opportunities will eventually find their way to you
I can't believe you released this almost a year ago... I was checking almost every week fort his to come out. Time flew by so fast! I am amazed at how much more information you were able to gather. This was so good!
After watching this over a course of like 1week, I'll have to admit, this is probably the best video I have ever seen on this Platform. I appreciate your work and everyones input on this, yall are truly great and I have been enjoying these full 7 hours, it was great.

This series is probably the reason why I became a kanye fan. I remember watching P1 and 2 back in May or Summer of 2021 while playing minecraft by myself in my room with my brothers in the background. I heard Welcome to heartbreak and some other songs from 808s, and remembered liking the album. Later, when Donda released I decided to give it a listen and fell in love with the rest of his discography. You sparked my interest in Kanye and a year and a half later Im glad I got into his music before all the shit hes in now. I just realized this video is 6 hours holy fuck.
For me, it was around the time Donda rolled around, and people talking about how Kanye sampled the Gobgobgubgulab. That piqued my interest, so I went to listen to the song thinking it would suck, but by the end I loved the song, and I’ve been a Kanye fan ever since.
This is like Sam O'Nella coming back, but 100x better. Watching Pt 1 + 2 was genuinely one of the highlights during lockdown, can't wait to burn one, two, or a few, and watch this. Thank you for delivering this level of quality content!!!
kanye is the main example of no one will believe in you if you don’t even believe in yourself you can tell he really wanted it it’s rare people want something so bad they speak it into reality
I Thought part 3 never gonna come but i was wrong! Thanks man for spending your time to do this,i really enjoyed watching part 1 and 2 while doing other stuff, have a nice day man and i hope more video's gonna come with different topics! You're doing amazing work for the community
Holy shit the synth at 1:58:26, that's literally a godly transition from BOTL to Bound, not even fully done with this video but it's insane how good this is so far. Massive props to your for riding it out and finishing this behemoth.
One of the best video series I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. I love this man and it makes me so happy to see that other people are interested in him and his story. I love all types of iceberg videos but these have been so much fun to watch as a Kanye fan. The amount of effort put into these is ridiculous and I cannot wait to see what else is to come. You are a part of Kanye West history and these videos are something I’ll be sure to rewatch over and over again throughout the future. Thank you, I love this video like Kanye loves Kanye.
I’ve watched all 3 parts in a day because I didn't know a single thing about Kanye West and the only songs I’d ever heard were the ones that went mainstream and from The Great Gatsby soundtrack. I really wish I had been introduced to his music and his style a long time ago back in the 6th grade when everyone was crazy about him. I really just realized how much we share in common like it’s INSANE!!! And the snippets I’ve listened to through these videos have all been amazing. My mind is blown and I’d have definitely looked up to him as a role model as a kid. I mean I am looking up at him now and admiring the things he’s done. Shit. It genuinely makes me want to work hard in my multiple passions and possibly reach his level (probably not but a girl can dream)
“It was perfect…perfect everything down to the last minute details.” The absolute best video ever seen on UA-cam I’ve waited all year for pt.3 well worth the wait, absolutely looking forward to more ye icebergs and the frank ocean iceberg as well.
Just finished watching. I see why you put the labels passing section at the end. Most of us Ye fans knew that he had he had trouble getting signed, about the "producer-rapper" tag etc., but the detail that you broken down that section makes it so powerful. Truly incredible series, this is definitely the best documentary detailing Ye's importance as an artist. Especially during the current Ye era, as I know many of Ye fans are going through a hard time right now, this video has given me so much uplifting energy. Bravo, incredible. 👏
bro thank you so much for starting this series. these iceberg vids are what got me into kanye and got me into hiphop and just more into music in general
this made me cry. kanye story is so inspiring everyone wants you to become something your nor yourself is the best version of you and that's truthful kanye a legend this video inspired me to make a mixtape of me rapping over random instrumentals and yesterday I would've said it would be nothing but after this one I think I can easily say I'm a better lyricist than most people and that's all that matters and imma just rap and have fun and be myself cause that's how you succeed
This the most important iceberg vid I’ve been waiting for a long time since 1-2 and I would lowkey re watch the old ones just waiting for this one since they are all just soo good..
the amount of research that had to go into this is absolut crazy. I really appreciate his music and history in the hiphop industry now. The video was really good!
I watched from start to finish and I have to say this is one of the best videos I’ve seen on this app. I stayed throughout the whole 6 hours entertained idk if any UA-camr could ever do that. Thank you
Man I'm late to the party and just discovered these icebergs two months ago but man am I hyped, thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into your content.
I have to leave a comment just to appreciate the effort you put into this amazing series. Of course have I heard about Kanye West and I knew about a few things he's done and listend to a couple of songs, but I had no idea about what he was really about and all until watching your 3 part documentary. Not only have I gained insight and inspiration to a guy facing the same struggles that most of us are, but also I can say I pretty much discovered my new favorite artist. Thanks alot.
it’s amazing the amount of effort put into this video and series, not only that but you and multiple helping hands even MAKING TRACKS that you probably were simply like “yeah, that’d sound dope let’s do it.” crazy, mad respect bro.
Yo, RR. Don't know if you'll see this but the amount of work and research put in to this video is amazing. I wanted to point out some additional things to the topics already discussed in here (not that they needed to be included) and other topics to possibly add in a later installment (if you need to and if you already don't have these). THINGS TO ADD: 13:30 - This track could have been an inspiration for Kanye's future Champions posse cut track with Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, Big Sean, etc. I don't know if this is actually true but there's a possibility. 34:14 - Kanye also called out JT in his 2015 VMAs speech, that long one where he announced his presidential run, and said that he saw him crying when he lost the AOTY Grammy in 2007. JT responded in a tweet where he called Kanye "cute" but later tweeted out he was joking and showed his appreciation for Ye. 58:30 - He also sang a bit on Lord I Need You but obviously this was just a quick montage. 2:42:57 - Kanye would later shout out Larry David on Travis Scott's "Watch". 2:53:10 - Kanye wanting Tom Cruise to star in an episode featuring a Make-A-Wish kid? This is surprisingly similar to the clip of Kanye telling Kim about a Make-A-Wish kid who asked for Kanye, forgetting about Tom Cruise. 3:53:08 - The reference of the title to the lyric from Gorgeous: "What's a black beatle, anyway? A fucking roach?". 4:10:30 - This same Mountain sample would be used on Barry Bonds so this track partially made it to a track on Graduation. 4:46:00 / 4:46:58 - The sample was actually specifically from the Gucci Gang mashup made by Grandayy as evidenced by the drum pattern on both meaning that Kanye or whoever included the sample just took the first result of "globglogabgalab" on UA-cam. 4:47:35 - In the same Dunkey stream, he also predicted Fantano giving Donda a 7. 5:08:45 - Drake would also bow down to Eminem in a 2016 concert held in Detroit and called Eminem "unappreciated". TOPICS THAT COULD BE ADDED: Kanye-themed question on Nickelodeon's Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? - In some episode during the 2019 revival of AYSTA5G with John Cena as the host, one of the questions asked something about Kanye facing towards the sun and which direction he would be facing with one of the options being "Kanyeast". I'm not sure which episode this is from as I watched this when I was younger and only have a vague memory of it. Shopping with Lil Uzi Vert - Kanye and Lil Uzi have had a somewhat long history with each other. They've only had one known collaboration as far as I know, on Travis Scott's "Watch" but the two have talked about each other quite a bit. In a 2016 Hot 97 interview, Uzi talked about 808s and also freestyled over the RoboCop intro. In early January of 2018, Uzi & Kanye went shopping in NY and Uzi talked about later in January during the 2018 Grammys at a red carpet interview. He said that he was a very humble guy and was always thinking about his family. Also, in December of the same year, Uzi would mimic Kanye running away from TMZ staff (already brought up in this video). In May 2020, Uzi asked Kanye to "pray for him" in a tweet but was super vague and didn't really explain anything. Later in 2020, Uzi said that he was on the same level of Kanye as an artist and Kanye responded in a tweet that said "I love UZI I be saying the same thing about Steve Jobs I be feeling just like UZI" which Uzi retweeted. I'm not sure what the Steve Jobs thing means besides the possible explanation of Kanye relating this to his statement of him saying he wanted to be "the Steve Jobs of the Gap". In 2021, Uzi tweeted out that Kanye was a fake pastor with an accompanying laughing emoji. It seems that Kanye didn't publicly respond to this. However, they might have squashed their beef (if they had one) as they got matching tattoos in 2022 along with Steve Lacy. Soon after this, Uzi and Kanye would model in Yeezy shades (picture already shown in Pastelle section when talking about Kanye's future fashion endeavors). That's really all I know from their relationship. Kanye vs. Rainn Wilson - At the 2007 Emmys, Wayne Brady invited Kanye and Rainn Wilson on stage to engage in a rap battle of "Stronger" where the loser would supposedly have to quit show business forever before the two would go on to announce the winner of Outstanding Reality Competition. Saturday Night Live - Kanye's been parodied multiple times on SNL. The one that resulted in Kanye's famous "Fuck SNL" bars on "POWER" was when Taylor Lautner (who dated Taylor Swift at the time) made fun of Kanye about the 2009 VMAs incident and Taylor Swift would even allude to the incident when she did her opening monologue. However, it seems that Kanye has made up with SNL as he included Chris Rock on MBDTF, he previewed "New Slaves" and "Black Skinhead" when performing there in 2013, he previewed Wolves along with Vic Mensa and Sia in 2015 during the SNL 40th Anniversary Special, he was a musical guest in 2018 (but he did go on that one rant which was talked about in the video but I don't remember which section), and he was even in a sketch in 2016 with Kyle Mooney where he rapped "I Love Kanye" to Kyle's face. Despite all this, it hasn't stopped from Kanye being ridiculed in multiple sketches on SNL, a weekend update with Pete Davidson back in 2018 with the pro-Trump speech stuff happened, a recent weekend update with Colin Jost & Michael Che, and even getting called out by Kim when she was hosting SNL. Kanye singing Bohemian Rhapsody - That one time Kanye tried to sing Bohemian Rhapsody at Glastonbury... Katy Perry song: Kanye's verse on the song "E.T." by Katy Perry, where they received an award for "Favorite Song" at the 38th People's Choice Awards and Katy would sorta sneak diss Kanye in the acceptance speech. She later would go on to say that Kanye running for president is "a little wild" and apparently attended a Sunday Service. Collab with Lil B? - There is apparently a leaked version of "Can U Be" which contains a verse from none other than the Based God himself. Lil B came across a tweet of someone talking about this leak and he would post a screenshot of the conversation to his Twitter. Keyboard Kid, a main producer of Lil B, would also confirm this in a tweet. Plus, it should be noted that the Lil B leak is over a cleaner and more well produced version of the instrumental than usual. However, someone under the Reddit post talking about this potential track said that someone sent Lil B a remake of the Can U Be instrumental, Lil B did a quick verse on it, and then someone sold it on a commissioned leak site. But with that Keyboard Kid tweet, who knows? And will Lil B have to personally fuck Kanye in the ass when he sees him, as evidenced in a tweet? Kanye at soccer (or football, if you so please) games - During the Donda listening parties while Kanye was staying at the Mercedes-Benz stadium, he attended an Atlanta United game of soccer. He would even be made fun of by Snoop Dogg and Kevin Hart. In March of 2022, Kanye would attend his son Saint's soccer game with Kim after their divorce. In October of 2022, Kanye would storm out of another game of Saint's after having an argument with some other parent (and apparently stopped at Denny's). James Corden Airpool Karaoke - Kanye appeared on the Late Late Show with James Corden and he performed with the Sunday Service choir on a plane with Corden. Corden interviewed Ye and would sing some songs, most notably the acapella Jesus Walks. All that Pete Davidson and anti-semitic stuff - Yeah, I don't need to explain any of this. The only thing I'll add here is that "ye" was originally going to be titled "Hitler" or something like that. Well, that was my comment. If you happen to come along this, RR, then I would like some feedback. Also, from anyone else who just comes along this, I hope the same. If you actually read most of this, thank you, and have a good rest of your day. 🙏
Lil B on CUB is fake, waterfalls does this all the time to sell songs. Basically he sends instrumentals (from stems) to artists pretending to be someone from Kanye's team and gets the verses. That's why there's a bunch of Ameer Vann donda refs despite Kanye never working with him lol. Or he pays for verses from artists like Kaash Paige on Daylight and Lil B on CUB. I mean Lil B famously will rap on anything you want as long as you pay him. I remember 4chan /mu/ making rap album and recruiting him.
Few hours in and feel like I just stepped out of a Kanye time machine. The amount of time this probably took really shows the dedication you have to put a perfect product out. Looking forward to the rest!

The fact that there’s 7 hours of content is just unbelievable, thank you for your hard work!
7 hours of crackpot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for this documentary on Ye. I'm a 63 yr. old w/f and I had no idea how talented this "still young" artist is. I look forward to his future musical creations and collaborations with other artist.
Normally I would call this a massive W, but you got here at what has got to be the worst possible time.
Who's gonna tell him
This has to be one of the most detailed iceberg videos of all time. Can't wait!
The most*
This was one of the most fantastic things that I have ever watched. It took me over a month to watch this trilogy in it’s entirety, and I appreciated every moment about it. Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this masterpiece!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏
On my 2nd day rn
I’m on day 1 im gonna probably finish tomorrow only on like the 10 minute mark tho
the fact that this series is 10 hours long is insanely amazing
I edit videos myself, and seeing how well this is edited and put together is absolutely insane to me. I wouldn’t an able to make more than a 30 minute video of this quality without going insane
Finally finished. I don’t have words man. 7 hours of the best researched, most entertaining documentary about anything I’ve ever seen. I really appreciate Ye now especially towards the end with the getting rejected so many times. Thanks for making this man, big love to you
I'd never thought Kanye West would have three iceberg videos about him, and the icebergs all together would be between 8-9 hours long. Super stoked
stoked for crackpot!!
The peas in a pod gotta be the best part of the video, so wholesome
Huge shoutout to Ann Marie for being willing to come on and share with everyone!
I loved doing some investigative journalism for that section
The first two videos got me into Kanye and he became my favorite artist shortly after. Seeing part 3 finally released make some feel incredibly thankful.
part 3 crackpot!!!!
Same for me, man
My favorite rappers were the ones from 90's, like Biggie and Pac, and I didn't think he was a good rapper or human being because of his polemics
But, thanks to this series, I learned more about Ye and now he is and will always be my favorite rapper and artist
Literally I was thinking about you during the Kanye controversy. Can’t wait!
Even if I had to stop half way through the video, I came back in the morning to finish this. One of the greatest forms of media to exist, and one I'll look back on with only positive memories. Your Hard work has paid off in my eyes.
crackpot media!!!
I love how different segments are like their own video. I genuinely thought I was watching a 20 minute video on a DOOM x Kanye album, then I remembered it’s a 7hr iceberg video.
I'm still flabbergasted at how you you kept me captivated for about 10hours in the span of two days... you got a crazy work ethic... top tier content... wow
That means a lot thank you 🙏
@@RhythmicReason How long in total did you personally spend in creating this masterpiece
@@TTTTTTTTT853 Not sure how many hours but it was a year and a half of work
The dedication is crazy bro. Respect!@@RhythmicReason
U just like me fr
@@ryanpowell5044 that's cool! Are you in Architecture? I've always been like this but its the right industry to be told no in.
All this stuff is movement, and with the right movement the proper opportunities will eventually find their way to you
Major W glad this video can serve as some inspiration!!!
This is so much better than any diluted iceberg documentary I've seen on VH1. You are creating a masterpiece.
I can't believe you released this almost a year ago... I was checking almost every week fort his to come out. Time flew by so fast! I am amazed at how much more information you were able to gather. This was so good!
a little inappropriate is such a good concept and the story about the peas person is so entertaining, I can't believe I've never heard of it lmao
After watching this over a course of like 1week, I'll have to admit, this is probably the best video I have ever seen on this Platform.
I appreciate your work and everyones input on this, yall are truly great and I have been enjoying these full 7 hours, it was great.
That means a lot 🙏
@@RhythmicReason I don't wanna give u more work and I don't even know if it is possible, but can u add the Single topics in part 1 & 2 like u did in part 3, so we can skip to certain topics and don't have to search for it.
All love.
when all hope seemed lost, he returned.
crackpot return!!!!!!
Kanye doing a great job extending this series
crackpot series!!!!
I can't believe I saw this, you deserve everything for the effort you put into the 3 parts, and thank you for showing us this content about Kanye
The MADVILLAINZ part blown me away, incredible work
This series is probably the reason why I became a kanye fan. I just realized this video is 6 hours holy fuck.
crackpot fan!!!!!!
For me, it was around the time Donda rolled around, and people talking about how Kanye sampled the Gobgobgubgulab. That piqued my interest, so I went to listen to the song thinking it would suck, but by the end I loved the song, and I’ve been a Kanye fan ever since.
@@idimation5579 same
Same!
That’s beautiful stay blessed
This is like Sam O'Nella coming back, but 100x better. Watching Pt 1 + 2 was genuinely one of the highlights during lockdown, can't wait to burn one, two, or a few, and watch this. Thank you for delivering this level of quality content!!!
quality crackpot!!!!
This series has literally inspired me so much. I love listening to these things while painting and it’s so calming. Great work man!
inspired for crackpot!!!
part 4 gonna be wild
kanye is the main example of no one will believe in you if you don’t even believe in yourself you can tell he really wanted it it’s rare people want something so bad they speak it into reality
I Thought part 3 never gonna come but i was wrong! Thanks man for spending your time to do this,i really enjoyed watching part 1 and 2 while doing other stuff, have a nice day man and i hope more video's gonna come with different topics! You're doing amazing work for the community
crackpot topics!!!!!
Holy shit the synth at 1:58:26, that's literally a godly transition from BOTL to Bound, not even fully done with this video but it's insane how good this is so far. Massive props to your for riding it out and finishing this behemoth.
crackpot synth!!!!!
I had been gazing at this comment since I started the video on Sunday and I have finally made it to this point in the video. I fully agree.
That means a lot thank you 🙏
@@RhythmicReason love you and your videos man!
Keep working everyday I’m glad you liked the videos!
“It was perfect…perfect everything down to the last minute details.” The absolute best video ever seen on UA-cam I’ve waited all year for pt.3 well worth the wait, absolutely looking forward to more ye icebergs and the frank ocean iceberg as well.
Always been a Ye fan but man it's crazy seeing how many people find his music through your videos.
crackpot videos!!!!!
I hope Kanye will see this. Just to know someone gets him and people still appreciate his art.
Bro dropped the best video ever on youtube and dipped
Just keep making stuff everyday your time will come!
im sure you're better than kanye, he was terrible
the only thing i can say after watching the whole video is that it was definitely worth the wait ! Appreciate your work
5:58:10 ayo he used that beat on his new album
Great video I didn’t think a 6 hour video can keep on being interesting for that long
9 total hours of Kanye info after this. I’m already ready for part 4
This the most important iceberg vid I’ve been waiting for a long time since 1-2 and I would lowkey re watch the old ones just waiting for this one since they are all just soo good..
This video is absolutely INSANE like HOW did you make a 7 hour highly edited video?!
A year and a half of work!
highly crackpot!!!!!!!
the amount of research that had to go into this is absolut crazy. I really appreciate his music and history in the hiphop industry now. The video was really good!
We need Part 4 ASAP
I watched from start to finish and I have to say this is one of the best videos I’ve seen on this app. I stayed throughout the whole 6 hours entertained idk if any UA-camr could ever do that. Thank you
Appreciate you! Tried to make it engaging as possible to justify the runtime!
@@RhythmicReason and you definitely did
crackpot youtuber!!!!!
Brother we’ve gotta get a part 4 (no pressure!!!!)
Even as a huge Kanye fan I’m learning a lot of things that I never knew about. Thank you for making this series, can tell that you put in hard work
This will be by far the longest UA-cam video I will ever watch. I’m excited for the next installment of the YeBerg Trilogy.
Yo, RR. Don't know if you'll see this but the amount of work and research put in to this video is amazing. I wanted to point out some additional things to the topics already discussed in here (not that they needed to be included) and other topics to possibly add in a later installment (if you need to and if you already don't have these).
THINGS TO ADD:
13:30 - This track could have been an inspiration for Kanye's future Champions posse cut track with Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, Big Sean, etc.
TOPICS THAT COULD BE ADDED:
Kanye-themed question on Nickelodeon's Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?
@@brg2147 thanks for letting me know, man! i was getting pretty skeptical of it

I think i'm gonna cry, we waited so long for this, i just wanna say THANK YOU, we are witnessing history
Damn, waiting one and a half year was worth it. I just watch it and watch it and watch.. And it doesn't end! You deserve at least ten million views
