Nice set up. I run a HHV bump and didn’t realize I didn’t have arc rails until I got my 3m comtac adapters so I had to order mlok adapters. I run a pvs 7, crydex Mohawk, walkers, and will eventually get into coms/lights.
I bought the wraps and really like them "thank you" I am having issues finding a mount for my light. The Unity ear mounts take up the slot, I see you have a mount on the Picatinny rail, what brand is yours?
The mount that I use is a knockoff of the SureFire M75 mount. I think I got it on ebay or Aliexpress. It works pretty well since it doesn't need to hold up to recoil or anything like that.
I didn't mention it in the video but I had a similar issue. My adapter was a rubber mallet. Just gotta muscle it in there, but once it finally clicks in it's very solid.
@@AFOPatches what i meant was i have a gen one norotos mount pn 1723010 tatm mount. It is simply a diff footprint than my wendy bump mount. But the Rhino 2 fits no problems?
Rhino 1 or Rhino 2 will mount directly the Wendy bump. If you want to go the adapter route you can pick up a Norotos Universal Shroud Adapter kit from a site like TNVC or Own the Night
“I’ll just use the MS2000 as battery storage because it’s not like I use it anyways”… You do realize, that even if you’re not using literally anything that takes batteries, especially a high powered strobe, those batteries are still being used right? They’re still using the power from the batteries even if you never turn it on. So, might wanna invest in an ACTUAL battery storage system..
I store two extra lithium AAs in my counterweight pouch. That's more than 40+ hours of use for my 14. That's 4-5 nights worth, then if for whatever reason I use those up, then I can take the batteries out of the strobe and probably get another solid night or two of use. I have like 4 other Lithiums in my bag too. Parasitic battery drain is not as severe as you think it is.
@@AFOPatches well.. honestly, I wouldn’t worry so much about the batteries as much as the live ammo your using as a “counterweight”… Dude, you can go to an Ace Hardware and buy like pine-derby car weights or even weights that are used for balancing your tires, those are actually really good cuz of the sizes they come in… (You didn’t mention if your running just bump helmets or ballistic, all I know is, you couldn’t pay me enough money to where a bump helmet (hell, even a ballistic one) w/ live ammo stored inside of it..) But if you really want a better way for battery storage, I’d use the GMR Gear ParaSight Battery Caddy.. takes up less space & you can still keep your elastic holder along with the system built into the Agilite Helmet Cover.. One other thing, that clip you’re using for your NOD’s… I’d ditch that and just get literally anything else.. Unobtanium Gear has the RATS (my personal favorite, but there’s other’s too. Kinetic Consulting has the NERD, Microbat Systems has the Tentacle, Costa Defense has the SRS… I mean there’s tons of better options that physically mount to the helmet.. I promise you, that clip will eventually fail. Straight up snag-hazard, you clip 1 tree or bush for instance, while they’re stowed up, and you can kiss those goodbye.. I’m just sayin’.. BUT PLEASE, get rid of the live ammo.. not only a danger to yourself, but to other’s as well. Hope you’re open to constructive criticism.
Brother. 9mm BULLETS. Like...projectiles, not cartridges LMFAO. It's not live ammo. It is literally just lead. I reload. I know what I'm doing. Correct, I am not in the military. Astute observation. I hike and shoot in this helmet regularly and have had no issues with the weight or balance of it. Consider coping.
I've used my TW a lot since I posted this video. I think it's leagues better than the ATE in just about every metric. With the pads from the ATE in the TW helmet, it's even more comfortable. Its very stable. The BOA retention system helps a lot with that.
Not a scratch on it… hard to take an opinion seriously when it’s clearly for looking at , and showing off it seems
Sorry I'm not retarded enough to be banging my head on things, like you

I like that pattern you have on the helmet.

The new helmet is nice!
Did you find the company that sells the wrap. I just bought a steel pvs 14 L3 harris in black
RangerWrap
Okay, where'd you get the UFO patch??? Never mind, finished the video. Link to buy just that patch?
Haven't released them yet. They're part of the December drop so they'll be available within the next week or so 👍
@@AFOPatches Awesome, thank you!
does the krydex mohawk glow in the dark(NIR)? i wanna buy one since the real ones are super out of stock lmao
👍👍👍 😎
Where did you find the desert night camo?!
For the nod? Ranger Wrap
@@AFOPatches thanks for the response
But on the older setup up it looks like you have tape on the helmet it’s self in the desert night camo pattern

OH, my bad. Totally misread that. Yes, you'll need a shroud adapter kit for the TATM to fit in a bracket-style shroud like on the Wendy bump.
@@AFOPatches can you point me in the right direction? or does the rhino 2 mount straight to a wendy exfil bump?

Still weighs less than a ballistic equivalent
Heavy much ! Causing slow running
Putting night vision on any helmet is going to make it heavy bro. Just get a stronger neck.
