    Just found your sight and looked at paintings by you. I find them so beautiful. Your a master at values and to see it all comes together wonderfully.

      After years of experience working outside, I can say memory ways heavy, in the process becoming highly developed at "imaging in" !!!

    How do you get dark values in your sketchbook? 6B graphite?

      I use a 4B graphite. The paper is pretty hard without much tooth, so I can really press hard to get the darks. I tried softer paper just a few days ago, and it was a very different experience. I'm so used to the paper in my Moleskin sketchbook that I've been using for years.
