Diving around Ossimba Beach Lodge

Northern Mozambique is not called the Coral coast for nothing!!!
This area has phenomenal corals and all in amazing condition. It has spectacular wall dives, wreck dives and a newly discovered Russian Mig 15 fighter plane wreck, all within close proximity to Ossimba Beach Lodge, Nacala.
Dive sites are teeming with all the usual colourful reef fish, one of the absolute favourites being the Regal angelfish, which are on most dive sites visited.
We have had unbelievable visibility on most sites, ranging from 20 to 30m. And a balmy water temperature of 30 degrees C. Some people have dived in their shorts and T shirts and some in a shorty wetsuit. Absolute bliss!!!!
There are a lot of undiscovered sites in this area and on many sites, fish have most likely not seen bubbles and a scuba diver before.
If you love adventure, pioneering, not knowing what will pop up next on your dive,or even what you may find from one metre to the next..... this is the place to come to.
Its a short flight from Johannesburg S.A. to Maputo - Mozambique. Then a 2h30 minute flight from Maputo to Nacala. And there, after a 30 minute drive in the African bush, you will reach Ossimba Beach Lodge. You could not get closer to the beach than this.
There are a variety of room options to choose from: the famous water chalets, thatched rooms on the east of the beach and on the west of the beach. The rooms are so spacious and all within a few steps of the beach!!!.
With a relaxed atmosphere, the water at your feet, scrumptuous food from the restaurant and a Mozambican 2M beer to end the day, what are you waiting for....................
Time is forgotten. The world is out there somewhere. The ocean awaits you, whether you are a diver or not.
