Home and Away could never pull of a storyline like this these days. Everything is so rushed these days with no thought for aftermath or comeuppance for characters.
I dunno, I think the 2020s era storylines are the best however, this one was an exceptional one and they should do something like this again. I agree that there should be more on baddie 'come uppence'.
What a superb, victorious yet chilling moment! This has to be one of the best Home and Away moments ever, certainly in the last 10-12 years anyway. I forgot how good it is. Check the way Angie smiles after saying "I just made YOU want ME". Sensationally evil.
This gives me absolute chills every time. All the Angie stuff was happening during a time I wasn't able to see the show, so these clips are a Godsend! This has got to be one of the most powerful scenes ever in H&A.

They had tried many times to get Angie, through the police or other ways but she always wriggled out of it. She even burned down the principal's office because she knew it contained a file about her. She also knew she had been taped. Earlier in this ep, Seb had pretended to hand in his assignment and she "accidentally" erased the tape, knowing- or THINKING - that this conversation was on it, when in fact Sally had it. Playing it in front of ALL those witnesses was really the only way to get her.
God that woman was glorious!!!! Why did they have to tarnish her character by rehashing the same storyline with Charlotte King?? Get new writers Home and Away!
She certainly was! I don't watch the current show anymore but I doubt this Charlotte woman came close to Angie's level of manipulation, bitchiness and being downright sinister!
It was! Seb had previously handed in "his assignment" to Angie, who "accidentally" deleted it, but it was planned all along that Sally actually had the real one. Seb was very clever in doing this, because if he hadn't given Angie the opportunity to "delete" it, she would have still been expecting some kind of ploy. This way, Angie thought she had nothing to worry about and was caught totally off guard. Notice how she tries to snatch it from Sally, but Sally's having none of it!

OH MY GOD, they were so stupid to kill Angie off, she is without doubt the greatest H & A character ever!! Although Josie pretty much rocked aswell. BRING BACK LAURIE FOELL, the show needs you.

I can't remember the last time they showed this show in America or Canada.I remember as a tourist on a cultural exchange in 1990 watching a handful of early ones.the Americans/Canadians do way better stuff aimed at the young people now.
When the show was great, it pretty much sucks now and I have stopped watching it for the 1st time since the show started. Think they are going to be hard pressed to top this.........
2004 is when I last watched any.I went briefly back in 2018 to watch a handful but gave it up in 2019.prefer my old school sweet valley high,clueless and ready or not type of shows these days.I remembered Raffy's epilepsy storyline it reminded me of Degrassi Junior High what they did with Caitlin with the same topic but was modernised for new age audiences and for advances in medicine since 1988.

Charlotte was written very differently to Angie as Charlotte was written more realistic and just plan evil not insane like Angie.
