I thought this was a great video. Thanks. My family and friends went to a Disneyland Halloween party many years ago and they didn’t give you a map on where the give away booths were. Some were hidden inside the rides, either before or after the ride. Like exiting off Pirates soon as you got off the boat was a kiosk. Disney also gave out tee shirts and restaurant coupons that were outside the park at the one Kiosks. And lots of candy. And 99% of adults were highly dressed up. Some looked professional. We were Peter Pan and Captain Hook. All hand made costumes. Our family were chosen to be in the main street parade, sing the monster mash a bunch of times walking, waving, smiling and sing from tune town to the train station exit. It was a blast. It lasted more than 5 hours?
Since you guys went in 2021 as well, has your opinion changed at all? Like if you would consider it way more worth it now? Your 2021 video looked like you had way more fun than the initial one here. I'm going this October as well as to a bash (Oct 18) and I'm SO excited!
We loved both years. The only criticism we had of the first year was really the world of color show, which wasn’t at 2021 but will return for 2022. But you don’t have to go watch it. The event is a blast

What the heck? When I went on Oct 17 they were giving us goldfish and graham crackers with only a few real candies in between! We had a blast anyway, though!
Me too, we went to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights in Florida last year. Great event, enormous lines and wait times! I wish I could've seen Jack Skellington too lol
They are awesome. Like we said, the best people. While hanging out with them they were constantly stopped by people who recognized them and they had full conversations with every single person. Even though they were trying to film a vlog under time restraints, they gave every single person as much time as they wanted, photos, signed things. They are good people.

I am really impressed with the offerings for the new party at DCA! It looks better than the DL party, I just wished they offered a season pass for all the parties like WDW.

Hello! I am waiting for the dates that this event will take place this year, and I understand that oogie boogie party has an additional cost because it’s like a separate ticket but my question is, can I attend the oogie boogie without having a regular admission? I mean just attending that night?

A lot of the big rides are open and the lines for them are minimal. But as annual pass holders it’s less in our interest since the party costs over $100 and is only 5 hours so we concentrated on more of the exclusive stuff

The lines weren’t too bad! We didn’t wait for any character meet and greets though so I’m not sure how bad those were. I think the longest thing we waited for was 20 minutes for Villains Grove
When I went to Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party yearsssss ago they didn’t have good candy. I got a lot of fruit slices or dried fruit rather than actual candy. So it’s good to see they changed that

I really like the spirit Jersey for the event. that apple caramel churro does look different apple pie sounds yummy! seriously they need oogie boogie as a character meet and greet. the midori drink is really good I loved it. Cant wait to go to Oogie Boogie Bash in October
Inside the Animation Building is sick oh my god. I decided to not go to the Oogie Boogie Bash since I thought it was boring that you only get to go to DCA since in 2018, I went and the ticket got us into both parks. But wow this looked incredible. That parade is so much better than the one I saw because of all of the Nightmare/Haunted Mansion stuff. The character choices are so unique, the details seem unparalleled, the characters within the treat trails is such a great idea. The only thing is you said it's only 6 hours which seems so short to be able to experience everything and ride some rides. Maybe I do need to do this next year.
It was so much fun and totally worth it, but just wish it was longer. It’s still worth checking out if you can tho, you maybe just won’t get to see everything

Whomever told you that Villains Grove was a scare zone didn't know what the hell they were talking about. It is a feast of sight and sound that presents key villains in a fun, haunting and foreboding way without it being outright scary.

We didn’t have time for any rides. You pretty much saw most of what we did.
Cool. I’m just trying to gauge if we should plan on riding all rides when we enter the park early that day. We’re going this coming Sunday.
You can get in 3 hours early with the party ticket so I would ride all the rides then :)

Whomever told you that Villains Grove was a scare zone didn't know what the hell they were talking about. It is a feast of sight and sound that presents key villains in a fun, haunting and foreboding way without it being outright scary.
Yeah we quickly realized that. I think what the person who told this meant is it had the atmosphere of a good scare zone.
