- Where Did You Sleep Last Night by Lead Belly, covered by Nirvana remixed and remastered from their February 14th, 1994 performance at Le Zénith in Paris, France. I already remixed this one a while back, but since I'm doing the whole show I wanted put the new mix out by itself because of how insanely awesome the performance is. The full remixed concert will be out later today, February 14th, at 5 pm PT, 8 pm EST. I panned and beefed up the guitars, thickened and increased the bass, increased the kick and snare, and evened out the vocals.

the best and the saddest, because I knew that Kurt found out that day that Courney wanted to be unfaithful to him, I mean Kurt sang and played with heartbreaking screams because of what he felt

I disagree that it's the best version, but it's probably top three. Definitely one of the best. I put unplugged over this one as well as a live electric version I have that I don't know the date of off the top of my head. Still this version is awesome.

the reasons kurts scream was so powerful is cause courtney told kurt she had business to do when kurt asked he to be his valentine. By business she meant being with another man. thus the song was pretty important to him that night

@@imokayandyou406 the story never happened... Courtney was in California filming a music video (Hole's Miss World) while the alleged lover, Billy Corgan was in Europe. It was made up by her detractors who know rumors spread fast and people don't bother to verify info. Sad but true

My guess is they only want to release soundboard audio, but there are some bands like Metallica and The Allman Brothers that have officially released crowd audio bootlegs due to their historical significance and I think this would definitely qualify for that and because of how great the performance is.
