Afshin Ghaderzadeh (Iran) flew to Guinness World Records offices in Dubai, UAE to be measured as potentially the new shortest man living.
It was his first trip abroad and he visited a barber shop and then went to the top of the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building.
Afshin was measured three times throughout the day as measurements can fluctuate. He is measured laying down as well as standing.

Richard Flaherty was 4'9 and was one of the biggest badasses there's ever been. He singlehandedly saved his entire platoon in Vietnam.

yeah
that would be awkward for me because I'm normal sized, but given his condition, he's surely used to it.
Personally, if I were baby-sized, I don't think I'd mind being carried as if I were baby-sized. That seems like a much more efficient way to do things, when you're that size. It's very obvious to me that he doesn't seem to mind it, either; that smile of his is contagious. I'd love to have whatever outlook on life he has.

This is incredible, I'm just speculating but maybe growth factor deficiency combined with a variety of dwarfism. The fact that he could survive such a deformity is amazing and inspiring.
