Just recently visited here in my Sea Kayak, and it is indeed beautiful, but the entrance to the Lagoon had dried out, with the falling tide, and prevented access - just my luck!!
The BBC 2 Shakespeare play The Hollow Crown - Richard II, broadcast today, was filmed here. The scene where the Welsh warriors were gathered was definitely filmed at this location.
For Shakespeare enthusiasts, the BBC production of The Hollow Crown - Richard II (The Life and Death of King Richard II) used this location for Act III, Scene II. Other scenes by the sea were filmed on the South Pembrokeshire coast.
I note that on page 2 of the Guardian yesterday (Tuesday 17 August 2010) there is a photograph of the Blue Lagoon and details of the best walks in Britain, in the Guardian's travel website.

It is a special place for me. It's good to see people enjoying the water and jumping into the lagoon when the tide is high.

This is by far my most popular video. I thought that Barafundle bay and beach videos would be more popular and also videos of Three Cliffs Bay,
