Not only did you have the artwork but then could listen to the oh so great lyrics and magical guitars of the Chameleons!

Bought Script of the Bridge in Good Vibrations Belfast 2nd hand back in '84 because the artwork was great, what a gamble. Have all the albums on vinyl and cd. Turned 59 today and still rate this band as one of the greatest ever. Linn/Naim system.💪

.....no ecstatic guitar solos etc! they had found/create their own style in the post punk area! all for the sound of the group! that makes them all unique!wow!

Loved this song so much back in the day. So enjoyable to see them playing it. Just love the line "sit at the table and throw us some scraps".

My favourite band of all time. That said the influence they have had on so many later bands is astounding. Heroes in their own right, they have produced well thought out songs which to this day still remain greater than the majority.
A person isn't safe without The Chameleons these days...

I just discovered them 2 weeks ago!! I'm 35 years old. This tells you something is wrong with mainstream radio. I will get the book.

The Chameleons were and still are one of my bands. Absolutely fantastic lyrics, melodies and attitude.
"Obnoxious actions, obnoxious results, yeah Teachers who refuse to be taught".....
So true. If they still sound brilliant 25 years later .... what did the public miss?!
    Cheers,
    Mitch.
