Thank you for taking the time to .are these videos so that we can be educated. You speak slowly, clearly, and you repeat the important points several times, which is the most efficient way that are brains learn a thing... so when I'm done watching a video , I know exactly what to do. You also add ot of side notes that will save folks time and frustrations ike putting the snap ring in the seat then put your pliers in. That kind of knowledge is priceless...
Sorry about the audio.... My garage gets up to about 95 degrees this time of year and I have to run a large fan. Thanks for watching and check out the rest of the series!
I dropped a valve adjusting nut down the oil galley on the exhaust side of cylinder number one. Now I know I have to take the oil pan, pickup tube, and oil girdle out to search for it, Lol. Thanks for your work man! My oil pan is leaking anyway
Attempted to do the 90-degree turn and they physically will not budge I believe they are totally bottomed out so I backed it off and just retorqued it down to the 168 inch pounds. I'm using forged rods and ARP 2000 bolts.
The way they marked how to line up the oil pump and balance shaft was so confusing on my 97 accord. They have a dot as well as a v notch on the main gear. So are you supposed to line the v bitch up with the indicators or the dot with the indicators. Sheesh
You skip putting in the 10 bolts that go on the outside of the Cradle. I mean you actually did it but you didn't cover it almost missed it but I don't see specifically online the torque spec or at least I can't find it. I'm assuming it just gets snug in there.
That engine not only looks alot better but happier and will be ready for another 300k...great job
Thank you!
Currently rebuilding my 97 Accord Coupe F22B2 and your videos have been essential. Very much appreciate you taking the time to break every step down.
And thank you for taking a minute to comment. Those videos are rough, but I'm still proud of finishing them for guys like you.

I would use ARP's specs instead of Honda's since you are using aftermarket hardware. Good luck!

Yes I did, and that always bothered me about this video! It was a lot to keep up with.
What are the specs for the 10 bolts on the outside?
Should be 22 ft pounds. Tighten them inside to out and criss cross. It always bothered me I missed that in the video!
