Charles Barkley was a huge star in the 90s despite being a 6'6" power forward in a league dominated by very tall players.
However, there is just one thing that always set him apart from the rest... his big mouth and attitude. The other day I ran into a player who not only has a Charles Barkley replica build, but his personality closely resembles that of the round mouth of rebounds... in case you're wondering that's one of his many nicknames. Typical 2k lobby. C does most of the work for you to isolate you out the game. Then when you bring up the fact you ain't getting the ball because most people have ADHD & don't know how to slow down to let things develop. You get guys who ain't been on the mic come in like Superman & start laughing at you for crying. Then tell your all of your flaws. That's the reason I went to PF who can slash.
Logic of 99% of 2k players
C=only play defense & don't leave your man for the paint. No matter how you set a pick you have to roll without pulling the other C out the paint. Don't think you going to pop. You will be considered trash for not catching rebounds
PF=play defense & hit back door cuts or sit in the corner. Your roll is to exist not touch the ball
SF= Always guard the guards & sit corner.
SG= only sit corner, don't you even think about dribbling. You pass that back to the point or your trash.
PG= only one who gets touch the ball & you pray he passes. No matter how long this guy goes left right always give it to the PG. He is the superior player on the court. Don't worry about mismatches. That means nothing to low IQ players. The guard always has the mismatch no matter how good the lock is.
I barely play online for these exact reasons. This ain't 2k20 no more. No more finding good players to squad up with. You either ride alone or find IRL friends to play the game. This game is a joke & not for the millions of animations. It's trash because of the selfish player base
You haven't played in 4 years, and it shows. This is a perfect description of a 2K22 lobby, bruh. Games are different. You win games by abusing the mismatches. If one of your teammates is able to score, feed him the ball more until the defense collapses and start helping. At which point, said teammate will make the right passes to get others open looks.
In some other games, people with IQ will just go 5 out for drive and kick outs. Your logic is outdated if you think this PF was not touching the ball in this game bruh!
Agree whole heartedly, 99% of players DEF play like this, if I’m not with my IRL’s I actually prefer to go random rec rather than get stuck with a squad of 3-4 that play together all day and have that very same philosophy and or play buddy ball, random rec can get you pissed off as well but still a better chance to establish some semblance of chemistry
@@uchgamerxI agree i haven’t played 2k since 22 but i know I’ve played 1000s more recently games than majority of people I’ve played even if i didnt play 23 and 24. Most of my losses are people selling or quitting 1st quarter. Low rank low rep players. They also forget the purpose of the game is to be top rep so when dudes quit idc more opportunities and chance for me to get better.
@@uchgamerx First off, the way you're talking, is a prime example of what people say when you have people to play with. Ain't no true random seeing any f'n mismatches getting abused.
Secondly, I play PF I play as a 3 level but I don't expect to dribble, even though that's a mismatch 90% of the time. If randoms actually played 5 out. What lobby do you see 5 out, because that ain't no random rec thing.
Lastly, You're going off face value in your stance. I'm literally watching how you play in real time. Where was the 5 out? Oh because that trash player ruined it for you. I watched every songle person on that floor move at all times. It's almost like 5 out don't truly exist in random rec. Now the only thing that frustrates me, is you have a mindset of this is how the game should be played, IDC how you view it. Being in a business of insulting peoples gameplay really takes you out of reality.

Nah, the IRLs be crashing out like this too, and almost 95% of the time it’s because they’re either being guarded tight or they’re missing shots/not taking shots when they’re wide open. It’s hilarious though for sure, like let’s just hoop bro. You miss them one time too on a back door and it’s crash out season 💀😭😭

I always tell them if you want control of the game make a pg. you’ll understand what we go through. I play center and I play unselfish. Most centers I play with think they should be shooting 3s over the person with a 99 3

That’s a horrible take. Most PGs have low IQ and 99 3 ball doesn’t mean that they’re making those shots. Big men are left open on the perimeter because a lot of big men also don’t have IQ and they try to crash on every drive. This game tho, CB had an AI on him tho so he should’ve already known he would be iced out.

I aint mad at too CB build. He shot like sheeit, but he did everything else well and dominated the boards for yall. Yall won by 30. He was a bit whiny but played his role. Its guards responsibility to get rebounders and locks easy shots and reward them for doing their job and running the floor.
He played well despite his horrible shot selection. Guards did pass him the ball, but he shot horribly. I don't think the guards can be blamed here

@uchgamerx after watching this video and reading several comments (as well as your responses) I believe you would be a better player if you attempted to see this from CB's point of view. He played his role, from beginning to end. He was guarded by an AI. His complaints and poor shot selection came from frustration.
No one was looking for him until he complained. That's the simple truth. Reward your Dennis Rodmans or they stop hustling. At least he continued to play.

He passed out of shots before the 3 he took. But his point was that we were not moving the ball, which was not correct
