Thank you for uploading this. It's very good that the big damage caused by the psych and depression drugs (deceptively called antidepressants) gets known. I know I would have loved to know before, instead of being permanently damaged.
Thank you Angie and David. This is the 2nd time I watched the entire video. Still shocked to hear about the farse articles and clinical trials we thought we could trust. I have a son who was put on Citalopram as a teenager. Suffered seizures, suicidal ideation and not one doctor in any emergency questioned that it may have be related to the prescription drug he's been taking. WTF. He's 2 years off completely but still isolating and still not interested in dating again and he just turned 22. Crazy!
I suffer from pssd. Got issues on antidepressants persisted for 8 or 10 mabey more years. Finally got off them still have the issues. I also have issues building more muscle or getting learner regardless of what I do. Was misprognosed with skitzoid effective disorder put in psych ward twice. Thought fbi was after me. Years prior to pharmaceuticals I did not have paranoia. They kept upping me on there drugs and paranoia did not leave. Finally the second time being put in the hospital I was booted out after a month. Eventually paranoia went away. I then finally got off them Eventually including the invega it was causing dangerous side effects bruising neuropathy. Blood spots I had to get off cold turkey they were not going to take me off. To them prognosises are infallible. I've been off all of them for months and no paranoia. Many doctors don't listen. They commit medical gaslighting. I still have pins and needles low energy ed genital numbness retrograde ejaculation penis scar lesions that continue to pop up white penis patches poor bladder function low energy. Reduced sperm count. Muscles constrict and are painful. Stiff joints dry stiff hair. Still have some libido but it's not like it was prior to pharmaceuticals.
I’m in that last category- the old lady group. I have been very fortunate and a bit clever- just a bit, for working outdoor physical jobs my whole life, that kept me healthy, and active way past “retirement “ which has been anything BUT a retirement . The lucky part was finding a good doctor who was honest and didn’t give me too many things I did not need, and now I am doctor and pharma free, I manage my health and nutrition & all of it. That good doctor left a lucrative practice in Corvid times; he had ethics & refused to play the game. But as it happens, after watching loved ones die one after another and wishing to never need a doctor again, God willing, I went one last time in March 2020 because my doctor saw, and so did I, the writing on the wall. Many of us read between the 🦁 lions 🦁 and now we can all find our people. Mine are not in line at a damn pharmacy.
Today marks 5 months off of prescription drugs & I feel okay! My sex drive is still comatose. I’m married and we’ve just come to accept it. 🤨Still finding alone time much easier than socializing. I’m a bit concerned about isolation but tired of defending my position re the plans big PHARMA seems to be working on.
@@juliannewman8720 sorry, I just saw this! I was on Vyvanse & Lexapro, among others. You should see my drawer of leftovers. It’s a pharmacy in there! They wound up putting me in a drug-induced mania. Never again! April 1, 2021 is my “clean” day! It’s vitamins and the occasional Tylenol for me!
DR Healy do you happened to have the lecture you gave at The University of Toronto? You may have gave it to me before. We used to correspond a bit on this subject matter. I'm a Nurse of 21 years in Massachusetts. Maybe you have the link to it? Thank You.
About 8 months on a SSRI, I quickly lost my libido and genital sensitivity almost entirely, the emotional numbness disappeared as the dose was being reduced. I've been 100% off the medication for a month and a half and I haven't had any withdrawal symptoms for a month. But the numbness still persists, is it too soon to give up hope or is it permanent? is there any statistics?
Do SSRIs make permanent changes in your skin? I took 13 years. In April it Will be 4 years without them. I have pretty Bad rosacea and i think that's a withdrawal effect. Does anyone know?
Studied together with medicin students at my 20. That's what I saw! Just so less passioned students, about helping people. So much students about being/becoming superior ego. My fellow students (medical biology) saw them as dumm, just having to learn stuff by head.
"Making friends" by sending a naked woman to Healy's hotel room with champagne sounds more like black mail if they planned to use that event in the future to keep his narrative aligned with theirs.
I've doing it myself in small numbers, people I know, please, let me read what they wrote about you, what medication they gave you, the chain of events; I know who they are.
Orgasims are possible for me but are muted pleasure and it's complex how an Orgasim happens with genital numbness but there is a certain way a person can achieve it but lube won't work. Pharmaceuticals ruined my life.

56:09 Thanks for this. I'm going to make use of this. I was on one of these god awful SNRI's and nearly killed someone.
