This whole album is a masterpiece. Not a single bad track on it. Its a crime that they never became bigger than they did, but at the same time, in a selfish sense, its kinda nice to feel like you have a band like this "all to ourselves"- for those in the know- for those who were there.
All is true what you say. Since the 90s, I love to show them to people who don't know them but will understand. Then the odd time meeting someone who does already. One of the beauties of life!
Yes, troublegum is a perfect album. I will always remember when i saw them here at Provinssirock festival here in Finland, don't remember the exact year but around 92-94 i think. Great gig, very small crowd and got near the stage and they sounded great. That show prolly got me buying a bass guitar around that time. Very very underrated band.
My dad met them after a concert and had a few beers with them back when concert venues were actually full of music and not shitty electronic sounds off a computer
Therapy's Troublegum will never be forgotten. They made one of the best albums in the history of rock music. Perfectly balanced, perfectly calibrated, perfectly angry.

Rhythm is pretty different- 'Maiden tune is a "galloping" riff- lots of triplet phrasing which gives it a much different feel overall even if the notes are similar.
