I want to go there. To the 1920s. Just for one week. And see every show and live music performance I could cram into that time (Oh, and buy lots of dresses).
NEVER KNEW KEN MURRAY WAS AN ACTOR. I KNOW OF HIM FROM THE HOME MOVIES OF THE STARS OF THE DAY. SAW THOSE IN THE 50'S ON TV WHEN I WAS A KID. BOY, I'D LOVE TO SEE THOSE AGAIN.
As usual, great music. Ken Murray was an enthusiastic home movie maker. Many feet of Hollywood stars and sites going back to the 1920's were filmed with his 16mm camera. Really must-see.
@perfectjazz78 Great, the rating statistics show there's no one who rated down this Performance and that confirm the greatness of this video, my Appreciations.

I love the muddy, booming soundtracks from 1929 movies. I especially love the ones where everyone huddles together around one mike.
A k a the Please-Speak-Directly-Into-The-Potted-Plant era of talking pictures.

Jazz Blimp can land here anytime. Lovin it!
Sadly, she flew into rough weather and broke up at the end of 1931.

Here you've got some Ted Lewis accents! Great little tun!

@LKayL1 Ken Murray worked for Earl Carroll in the 30s and 40s and wrote his biography "Body Merchant", which is a great read .
@medamine39 Thanks for the nice comments, I checked and the rating system should be fine.
Thanks
Ken Murray had a rather short early talkie acting career, but he was a great archivist of old Hollywood.
There might be a temptation for the singers to suck helium and do "Betty Boop" voices...
