@@dj_instruments937 you’re here talking about wanting the best After all the improvements that Bandlab has brought in. Have you ever appreciated the little things they’ve done ? Instead you want the best. Funny thing is that most of y’all don’t even know how to record a good vocal on Bandlab 😏. Most vocals I have come across are trash and has any of y’all made an attempt to cry yourselves down ? 😒
Hey, i love BL, but more for the community, collaboration, feedback and friends that the DAW. But I actually like the door because it is pretty simple (and free) and so allows me to work with musicians at various technical levels. There seems to be a built-in limiter in the band lab daw because I see a lot of really hot tracks that are not as digitally clipped as they might be. I have also seen / heard band lab mastering salvage some very muddy recordings. Like anything in audio you should do an A/B comparison of any processing you apply... And if you can do that on speakers, headphones, earbuds and in a car as well as any other places you could make those comparisons you will get the best result... that is all a lot of work for what I do as a hobby. I do it cuz I enjoy it! UMF=🦄🧜♀️🌭🍺
I'm using BL from few years it's very good for free and mobile users.but i think if you give melodine tool and more for mastering it's the best.thanks again for giving such a good daw
I absolutely love BandLab. The presets for vocals are top notch. Still needs some type of mix editor tho to set mic gain levels? Maybe we can get 20 tracks instead of 15 soon? Keep up the great work BandLab team 🌟
1: All other DAWs have mixer tracks. I would love to send two tracks (multiple ) to one mixer track and process them as a whole. Gets pretty boring processing two individual tracks-clap and snare-when you intend to layer them as one and process them that way but wait!...Oh you can't 😢 2: Piano roll should highlight the actual keys when locking in a scale on both IOS and PC 3: More stock sounds to the instruments -an additional category for plucks- would be appreciated 4: Can we get grid lines on the track arranger for those of us who like to use and drop oneshots and build our tracks in this fashion. It would make it easier for placing oneshots on the grid. 5: Be dope if the drum grid allowed us to pan each drum hit from the images of said drums or the individual beats on the grid. Perhaps with some other cool features like ADSR for each drum track. 6: It sucks that when I want to cycle through sounds the beat will stop playing. I would like to pick sounds in context for choosing what works best for my song I'm building. 7: Seriously hope in 2024 you guys make some major updates. Can't be a professional DAW without mixer tracks. 😢 Smdh p.s.s. At least 24 tracks would be kindly appreciated. A lot of us actually like to layer our sounds. Hopefully you guys listen to the community like FL Studio does.
I'm really happy with the results of the Bandlab Mastering. I'm thinking about having vinyls pressed in the future - is the Bandlab Universal Mastering appropriate for vinyl? I'm sure that a professional mastering by a human being would make it even better, but I've read about the special requirements for vinyl mastering and I was wondering if there might be some things that Bandlab Mastering can't do so that it might result in a totally messed up pressing?
@@bandlabit does also when will you guys allow us the ability to turn audio and submit it inside iPad lab without using a third-party application and not just for standard chords, I mean for drums as well.
@@--legion I may be wrong about this but I think BandLab masters to -16 lufs but that wasn’t what I was talking about they don’t take true peak into account and their masters a lot quieter than streaming standards. I’m just curious why then chose that. It seems arbitrary.
@@lawinter1949 I see what you mean. I put an orchestral track though BandLab and it's 13-lufs, the same mastered via Ozone it's 11 -lufs without any limiting. -11 is plenty loud for classical, but I suspect those mastering beats would not be satisfied with audio that's quieter than the competition.
Nothing wrong with the advice, but BandLab is poor compared to Ozone. Lacks everything that you would want from a master - a full, rich, sparkling sound.

Why doesn’t BandLab mastering master a track to streaming standards?
Professionals do not master to streaming standards - mastering to -14 lufs is absurd.
