I think costing double green also hurts Needletooth Pack a lot, because any deck that can really get there on triggering morbid is going to be *heavy* black
Looking forward to watching this. Went 7-0 my first time in Foundations Premier Draft a couple days ago and am leaving a comment to pay credit to your advice being a factor in improving from my initial drafting attempts
I love these lookbacks at previous evaluations to compare. I think a bombs comparison video would ve neat. Your top 10 bombs vs. what data now shows as the best cards.
I usually start drafting each set only after I see your "What I Got Wrong" video for it, and this time it's not different. Thanks for being this awesome and accountable creator, Nizza ❤
20:25 The biggest comeback I've had in a while in limited was Arbiter on turn 6 followed by Electroduplicate from hand then immediately flashed back on turn 7.
I picked up 2 tolarian terrors early then 2 burst lightnings fairly late and ended up with a UR spells deck with 4 Tolarian Terrors thinking I had really solid deck.... I got no wins at all. Extra painful when I'm free to play and grinding for all this and dont really care too much about the not limited. Really wish I hadnt fallen SO hard for that trap. I don't think I did too badly drafting I think I just criminally overrated Tolarian terror. A lot of this was decently surprising to me. But the giant only having the 3 toughness definitely didn't feel great to me, noticed that at least 😅
don't blame yourself. this game is extremely unfair to FTP players. the servers are flooded with players that are perma-retiring sub-insane decks, especially in BO1. you probably did draft well. but if you don't open like an absolute god, you are likely to get 2 or less wins. You can't play legitimately in this game anymore and it's incredibly sad.
I saw WOTC tweet that people should get down to Friday Night Magic to draft Omniscience. So if you think you're wrong on any card Nizzahon, at least you aren't this wrong lmao.
23:40 morbid doesnt just count your creatures. R/G or B/G decks should have easy time triggering without going out your way. Especially in an aggro deck
Some of these adjusted ratings remain surprising to look at, even after analysis and data. Especially of the cards you overrated (the gobbo burn spell aside). Like the first time around the ratings made/make sense! ... But then life shows otherwise.
Part of the problem with the green cards on this list is that green is pretty weak as a color. Of course, there is a bit of a chicken/egg situation going on there
To be fair to him, he talks about what the video is about and how he gets the data as if someone has never watched one of these before. If you’re new, it gives you a reason to believe him, and if you’re experienced, it reminds you of tools you can use yourself (and you can just skip ahead a bit).
Did you predict that thte Mossborn hydra could reach the dozens of thousand of power/toughness? I personally reached 12,000, 30,000 and yesterday 73,300 !! Monstrous! No other green creature normally equals this. A landfall +1 that doubles itself +1... yeah See my game of that 73K power hydas it'S worth it (in constructed!!! not in sealed evidently!)
Nizzahon: I only underrated one card in this list
Faebloom Trick and Arbiter of Woe: Are we a joke to you?
Actually there were three cards that you upgraded - Dazzling Angel, Faebloom Trick, and Arbiter of Woe.

17:30 remember, it says counters not just +1/+1 counters. Plus thats just a bonus for long game stalemates
The greatwurm is a 7 drop that says "Your opponent casts a removal spell"
I am very surprised that Quilled Greatmaw ended up here. I thought you gave that a good score first time, but your evidence tells otherwise.
Faebloom Trick is such an incredible limited spell. Instant speed 2 bodies AND you fog one attacker? Great

They mean Omniscience Draft, not to draft the card Omniscience
Why would they name it that 🤦♂️@@jackiespaceman
@@439801RS because the format is all about playing as if both players start with Omniscience on the field? Google is a thing, my guys.
@@439801RS Because in Omniscience draft, you start the game with an Omniscience emblem.
@@439801RSbecause Omni draft is a limited format where you have an emblem that works like omniscience.

On an unrelated note: Anybody know why some cards are missing from the draft, like Midnight Reaper?
Only cards up to number 271 are draftable in foundations

How do you decide when and how to use special effects in your videos? 🍒🧡
The only UA-camr who admits to mistakes and then makes detailed content out of that

As usual, the actual video starts at 2 minutes in.😐
