James and Dutch you 2 are by far the best podcast. entertaining informative. just so likeable. you gents are just great you guys should have a million subscribers🎉 The back and forth it's just great great great great great.
Dutch is right, I've always loved the Sting repel. Definitely a statement type of entrance. And almost like the glass break, you know what time it is when he comes in like that.
I really appreciate you guys keeping the language mostly family friendly. It's great to have content I can play with kids around so I don't have to worry too much about offensive vulgar language. Thanks for all you do!
I love the way these two get along they are really good friends and James is too funny and very intelligent with his wrestling knowledge he is young I'm 50 been watching wrestling for 40 years and he is far beyond my knowledge.....
Fantastic podcast, extremely informative. I remember as a child the first time I cheered for the heels, it was the Minnisota Wreaking Crew, Gene & Ole Anderson. I almost always liked Ole, even when he was a heel, he and Gene were great, and he and Arn were great together too. That turn on Dusty at the Omni was one of the greatest, most shocking turns of all time.
We the people wish ole would have left us meet him more often so he would have known how much people loved his work i believe he may have been happier rip ole
Good to see you're doing better Dutch. Gonna have to check out one of those T Shirts later. I wouldn't mind checking on an autographed book too but I don't want to add on to you right now. When you get caught up I'll look into dropping $50 on some merch. God Bless.
I love Dutch as I watched him growing up. A fan of dancing Stevie as well. But how t.f. can you not figure out how to keep Shane Douglas as part of this podcast group, ffs?
Virgil was 72 when he died. I’m not sure why some people thought he was 61. I found that hard to believe because he’s been around for a long time and was 40 when he won the Million Dollar belt.
14:40 I mentioned this in another video you guys talked about Billy Jack, and I can't say for sure since I obviously never met the woman, but as someone who's experienced dementia in the 3 grandparents I got to meet, and my own mother going through the early stages before she passed, I can understand why it would be considered a mercy killing. Dementia is soul crushing for everyone involved. In some ways it's like watching the person die over and over again. The person you loved is already gone. Occasionally their ghost will show up to haunt you, but once dementia gets bad enough, that never lasts long. If I were the dementia patient, I'd want it to end. That's not what I want to put the people I care about through.
Wrestlers complaining about the concept of being booed is pathetic. If an actor is bad, we boo. If an athlete is bad, we boo. If a wrestler is bad, we gonna boo.
I was thinking about this last night, the Dibiase would make Virgil do humiliating things, like wipe horse poop off his boot, a lot of nasty crap ,and he actually would do it. As Vince McMahon watched laughing because he was litterelly doin the same thing to the dude, I guarantee there would be more than one take, and I bet he wasn't making shit in his spot.
I think I said this last week but I rarely watch any wrestling these days huge part of my life growing up I fucking love this podcast sit by the fire in the garden with a beer a and listen once a week god bless ya both 🎉❤
I agree with the comments on Flair,I think he should just be a mouthpiece/manager and leave the wrestling to the boys, only adding the occasional sneaky move from the outside of the ring.
Saying Matt Riddle "slipped his 2 rehabs stints in", isnt correct & tbh, not really fair or accurate reporting..He went into a lot of details & they discussed his situation for well over 10-15 mins. He was being ACCOUNTABLE!!!! He's bn beat down in the media for years, but now he's bn humble, open, honest, & transparent. Making up for his fk ups & hell no hes not over sharing, bcuz he cleared up a lot of misconceptions portrayed of him & set some rumors to rest. Thats whats wrong with todays society, 90% of ppl refuse to take blame or accountable for their actions. So to put him down, in the wrong context, isnt right & in all honesty, simply gossip..at least give the man some credit!! Instead of portraying him completely different then he came across & belittle the man, when hes owning up to it all.. & James, hope ur girl doesnt cheat on you, since you're mocking him for his girl getting with the peewee coach lmao..js
I was one of the biggest "marks" for rasslin there ever was, I began watching the Memphis territory days before the split and it wasn't the goofy stuff that I remember near the end. I moved to FLA for short time and got hooked on FCW in the late 70s. When I moved back to Tn cable TV came to town and along with it came GCW, that is where I first saw Ole. Ole held a grudge over McMahon buying Georgia Championship Wrestling, when Vince offered him a job he told Vince and Linda both to go fuck themselves. I'm sure that is why.
@@CuteLesbo69 100% correct, although it was on 2 separate occasions: when Vince bought out GCW he offered Ole a job and Ole told him to go F himself. Vince then ran into Ole again at a later date and had Linda with him, and introduced Ole to Linda, at which point Ole told Vince to go F himself and that Linda could go F herself as well; apparently telling his wife to go F herself was the bridge too far for Vince and he swore to Ole that he would never work for the WWF. The name Curly Bill comes from the real life cowboy Curly Bill Brocius. Virgil was part of the West Texas Redneck faction, and dressed as a cowboy as Curly Bill
It sounds like the wrestlers from the old days got a lot more time to practice since they were able to use the same routine, unnoticed, from town to town. It's all just really sad..

I take exception around the 36:32 mark whenever Dutch says the undertaker wasn't a great wrestler, but played the character. I disagree, even at 6'10 undertaker was agile, ex basketball player. Later undertaker incorporated submission moves and MMA gloves. I think Bryan Danielson vs WM 25 undertaker would be a spectacular match
Dutch great answer on Maxine. 44:21 I agree 100% but I do think Rhea is virtue signaling, and gaslighting the fans to “fall in line” but yeah, great perspective
1:04:30 If it is a compensation for sueing somebody then you will pay tax on any amount over £30,000. However if it is an employment settlement i.e. winning money from a wrongful dismissal suit from a former employer then you will pay tax on any amount.
I could only imagine seeing Dutch at the top of the ramp with someone like Cody Rhodes saying we the people and then going into the angle against the rock
I understand James. I would also not exchange personal Data during an online show, recorded or live and also rgardless the fact I will not show it in the camera. Just too many weirdos out there who take every chance to get that address and to some Fed up things, just because they think it's funny while it's probably more mental sick.

Best wishes for the ginger guy, it will be a big relief once over. (Do the rehab proper though). The drains are quite interesting in their way too.
I liked the repel. Made me feel young for a second.
Dutch great answer on Maxine. 44:21 I agree 100% but I do think Rhea is virtue signaling, and gaslighting the fans to “fall in line” but yeah, great perspective
Billy Jack probably got his hair styling cues from Gary Spivey
I already prayed for the both of them
1:04:30 If it is a compensation for sueing somebody then you will pay tax on any amount over £30,000. However if it is an employment settlement i.e. winning money from a wrongful dismissal suit from a former employer then you will pay tax on any amount.
Where is episode 89?
I could only imagine seeing Dutch at the top of the ramp with someone like Cody Rhodes saying we the people and then going into the angle against the rock
James is thinking about Ted Kaczynski aka "The Unabomber" 💣 BTW like always hell of an enjoyable show 👍
Who? Mike Jooones.
Who? Mike Jooones.
RIP Virgil. The true $10 champion.
I watch Biilly Jack Hanes in the 70s on TV in Tacoma Washington and a lot of great wrestlers of the future
It was hard to watch Flair in the ring Wednesday night
21:42 😂 that quote
I understand James. I would also not exchange personal Data during an online show, recorded or live and also rgardless the fact I will not show it in the camera. Just too many weirdos out there who take every chance to get that address and to some Fed up things, just because they think it's funny while it's probably more mental sick.
Someone tell dutch to press the mute button on his mic when he clears his throat.
Say what you want about Flair, he's on television and still relevant in
2024 Wooo forever 🌺🌹🌺
Did Dutch ever wrestle in Georgia for the fuller brothers as Wayne Cowan
Yeah. Technically it was "gay Wayne" Cowan.
Everyone who watched Georgia Championship Wrestling loved to hate Ole. Indeed Mr. Anderson, Indeed.
Ole had MS for a long time.
The virgil news was front page on yahoo. I never seen anything about ole Anderson till a day later ..
Saw boogie boogie 2014 in Spartanburg SC , could not have been nicer... Didn't feel ripped off ,,, did buy a photo
