Thanks for the video. On a run, my XK 5.0L DHC will do about 400 miles on a tank, which is plenty enough to stop for a coffee or lunch. However, I've had the XK for 10 years now and fancied a change, so I looked at the GranCabrio, which is a lovely car. However, I just didn't need rear seats (my XK has a rear seat conversion to a luggage platform) and the boot is quite small. The Maserati seems to make you want to drive faster - which is an odd sensation, after the Jag, which is happy to cruise. It also suffered from significant scuttle shake. I was also concerned about something expensive breaking - and decided to stick with the Jag.
Very interesting review. I had considered a Jag before buying my Maserati 4200 GT Cambiocorsa. Despite it being a nice car, I felt it wasn't special enough, so I bought a 2003 Maserati. It had 56000 miles and a FSH, and overall in very good condition. I have had it for over 3 years now and still love it. I carry out my own maintenance, service and repairs. Bought a OBD2 interface and diagnostics and so far have had trouble free motoring. They are very underrated cars in my opinion.
Interesting. It probably boils down to how you want to feel during a drive: I ride an Italian motorcycle so I guess I know where my emotions would take me...
I had a Masserati GT for 3 years. I now have a x150 as my every day car. Love them both. However could not justify owning 3 Italian cars, especially one as an every day car.
Enjoyed watching this very informative review! Thumb up! With deep respect for both car-makers, I would prefer smooth and relaxing drive of a Jaguar, keeping in mind its more reliable engine and less expensive maintenance. Maserati seems to be a bit loud, nervous and keeps the driver more stressed, which becomes boring in a while. Surely, it may be the matter of a personal preference.

I'm a Maserati fanboy, so I'm not answering the question 👍
Great review. Still prefer the Jag
The Maserati mc20 is the best looking super car ever and can do 0-100 in just 2.9 seconds!! With a top speed of 325 which is insane!! ❤❤
Jaguar Who?😂
I'd take the jag anyday
I love jag
