I low-key love the dramatic irony to this season, like we know that Aphmau and Aaron end up together, and that Aphmau is in a better mental state during mystreet and not really having stress attacks (by the way the scenes were really well written and I don't know if Jess has panic or anxiety attacks but I can confirm they are quite accurate), but the series still holds a lot of suspense? I personally like it a lot more than mystery. alSO BETTY BEING ACE/ARO AND WANTING PLATONIC AFFECTION IS A GOD TIER CONCEPT, I ADOREEE
Rewatching these is surprisingly fun. I’m able to actually understand and grasp concepts I wasn’t able to before. Something I’d like to talk about briefly is Aaron and Jenny’s relationship. Jenny doesn’t think about how Aaron feels. For example when he said he needed more time, she didn’t try and see things from his perspective, all she heard was “I hate you with a burning passion Jenny. Lol!” She needs to take a step back and consider how other people feel. Jenny certainly doesn’t seem ready to get into a relationship, not with the way she communicates/comprehends. [Quick edit: Rowan is a better father figure than Derek, and I’m pretty sure practically all of us will die on this hill. I mean, sure, Derek is trying to keep his son safe, but the way he’s doing it in is horrible. I wouldn’t want to get my family hunted down either (cough-When Angels Fall-cough), but c’mon! You’re shielding him from the real world. What was Derek gonna do once he graduated? Keep him caged forever and occasionally feed and water him? But hey, maybe Derek just didn’t know any better way. Maybe Derek thought he was doing a good thing.]
Definitely agree! I remember watching these on the family iPad when I was like 14 😭 it’s really cool to be able to actually understand what’s going on in the story and relate it to real life.
Spoiler alert Everyone forgets one line is When angles fall derek wants all of Aaron’s anger to be pointed at him if your rewatching in order you probably aren’t up to it yet but when you are look out for it everyone forgets it I’m not saying that it makes up for his actions but it shows where his thought process was

Jenny is not a yandere. If she was a yandere, she would kill anyone that got close to Aaron, and Aph would’ve been dead by then. Jenny does get angry when other girls are around Aaron, but doesn’t turn to killing to solve that.

Lina Louis do you actually ship Jenny and Aaron? Jenny is completely void of her understanding that Aaron is uncomfortable with his situation and is blinded but her admiration. The situations she’s put Aaron through are toxic and hostile. She’s obsessed and non responsive to Aaron’s feelings and she’s quite selfish and narcissistic. Relationships built off of another ones blind pining usually doesn’t end well if they are too distracted by there love for another.
