Have a look into the true history of the Netherlands, its Royals (who they are married too since WW1) and you will find many surprising links to the Ukro-Nazi's. Also look up what and how they colonized in S-Africa, Indonesia and dive a bit deeper into those stories. You will find many answers and will see the Netherlands has ALWAYS been like this. 72nd Mechanized Brigade...manages to defend against 4 Russian attacks on Vuhledar in the past so what does Kiev do? Put them into a hopeless situation and be forced to stay in Vuhledar forever.
Fun-Fact, The 72nd Mechanized Brigades "Black Zaphorozhians* were once a fellow comrade and amongst the Elite of the USSR Airborne paratroopers, They're actually Russians who Defected to Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet Union, So of course the Russian Marine Forces that responsible for Souther Donetsk direction would have a score to settle with them.

Because Deep State UA is very slow to update its maps when Ukraine is losing because they want to hide Russian progress on the ground for propaganda purposes. It looks really bad when Zelinski is in New York or Washington trying to bumb more financial and military support when the map that American politicians watch for progress 'Deep State UA' is showing how bad they are losing.
because Dima's rule is to only change the map color fully only under certain conditions...its mostly down to video evidence...just to avoid one side or the other talking their way across the map...
its a double edged sword approach as whilst it does add a certainty to those area's that are colored...it tends to lag behind some of the more speculative mappers that are willing to take the word of sources on the ground and update quicker...but then often have to roll back changes that turn out to be a bit too generous or outright false soon after...

Then, a small corridor was left for the exit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units, in which the remnants of the Ukrainian army reserves were finished off with all possible types of ammunition. Now there are more than enough drones and shells, and the fire pocket through which the former Ugledar garrison is trying to escape to the north is much smaller in size, approximately 7x3 kilometers.

Fighting Russia or America is a pointless endeavor. Yes you may win some battles and perhaps even delay the inevitable for a couple of years. But in the end you will either be defeated or your country will be completely decimated. Neither country can be defeated this way. Which points to the futility of this proxy war from the beginning. Fighting either of these military giants doesn't make them weaker as it would smaller states, it only makes them stronger. The Americans should know this better than anyone. If you want to weaken either these two military superpowers, war is not the way to go about it. It only guarantees that they will be that much stronger during and afterward. Because the the lessons they learn on the modern battlefield are a tremendous wealth of valuable information that few nations have. While the war itself puts their economies into super high gear driving innovation and ingenuity not seen peace time...

Where two front lines meet is never called "half surrounded". That is called the line of combat. If then you are outflanked and caught in a salient then you are in danger of being surrounded, so describing being caught in a salient or in a pincer movement as being "half surrounded" is not utter garbage, is it?
