I am a big fan of Eurobeat music for its high energy and solid melodies so I decided to fly down to Japan to see the Dave Rodgers live show in Tokyo, I was even fortunate enough to be invited to the Fan Meeting including a Q&A interview session, autograph session and photo session.

If you have a question, what would you ask Dave Rodgers?
Dave Rodgers is one of my idols and meeting him in person in Tokyo, Japan was a dream come true. He is best known for the popular songs SPACE BOY and DEJA VU.
Facts about Dave Rodgers:
- Italian music producer
- he is the 'the godfather of Eurobeat'
- he has been producing Eurobeat music since 1985
- he produced over 2000 songs
- won japan gold disc awards
- biggest fan base in japan
Eurobeat music predominately became famous through the Anime: Initial D and ParaPara dancing.

I played Initial D at the arcade in around mid 2k & Space Boy was my 1st song from that game & still is today Mon 6-7-21.

3000+ songs?!?! GodFather of Eurobeat is right, considering how many of my favorites are his, and yet I very clearly have never heard 90% of his music. Even if Avex is discontinuing their Super Eurobeat albums, I really hope the genre can continue to grow and especially see some more love across the ocean!
