Watching in 2024. My first job as a young girl was in greenhouses like this. Vent windows that opened by hand with chains, I can hear it now. The humidity in the Summer! The smell of growing things. I was privileged to work with elderly people who had spent decades working in the houses. I worked there for many years until the place was sold, and the houses torn down. It was heartbreaking. There will never be places like that again. Thank you for sharing this video.
Me too! I love the gentle pace, it really soothes the soul and you learn something in the process. Those deep pink roses he arranges at the beginning are absolutely beautiful. To work somewhere like this would be a joy.
Thanks for posting this. I saw it a few years ago, someone else posted it, but then it disappeared...at least I couldn't find it...but I loved it. Such a lovely series.

Thank you for posting this delightful old series...xx
I love this program. Nowadays we almost could not have big gardens, especially in the city.
I much prefer the look and fragrance of older breeds of roses. Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful programs.
Glad everyone is enjoying this series.
I did try, but blocked by claims of copyright, sorry.
Thanks SO much for uploading! 🌹
Beautiful program ! I wish I could be transported to that garden to help out. Not worry about this virus 🙏🌷🌿🌸
I, too, am watching this during the pandemic.
He reminds me of my Grandad. He always wore a collar and tie, loved his gardening. Passed that passion onto me.

What a legend and what a series. Its my calm place watch. I wonder if someone carried on Harrys work at Chiltern?
